We had a fantastic experience doing a 4-day hike through the Pati Valley! Everything was arranged perfectly. Felipe helped us organize our trip in advance, including advise on which busses to take. During the trip he adapted to the weather conditions and to our pace, allowing us to make the most of our 4 days in the valley, and made amazing lunches for us at the best viewpoints. At the end of our trip we were able to shower and relax in the Mamut office before catching the night bus which was exactly what we needed. Thank you Felipe for an amazing experience!!

We had the most amazing 3-day trek in the Valle do Pati with Mammut Trekking and our fantastic guide Atila. We are a couple and were put together in the same group with another couple, which was great fun and a good group size. The trek has beautiful trails and breathtaking views. We stayed two nights in homestays, where delicious buffet-style breakfast and dinner was served. The best part though was our guide Atila. He was very professional, provided clear instructions and interesting information as well as helpful tips, and was a lot of fun to spend time with too. Thanks a lot Atila for those unique three days! Also, the agency staff was very professional and helpful at all times. We particularly appreciated that we could use the agency's facilities to shower and get our luggage ready for our upcoming night bus, which was just a few hours after finishing the trekking.

Travessia Vale do Pati - 5 dias Contratei a Mamut para realizar o sonho da travessia do Vale do Pati em 5 dias acompanhada do meu pai, e a escolha não poderia ter sido melhor. Experiência simplesmente incrível com a Mamut! Fiz o trekking no Vale do Pati e superou todas as minhas expectativas. O destaque foi o nosso guia, o Atila — atencioso, seguro e com um conhecimento enorme da região. Passou confiança o tempo todo, conduziu o ritmo de forma equilibrada e tornou a caminhada muito mais rica com tudo que compartilhou sobre o vale. Outro ponto que merece elogio foi o cuidado nos detalhes. A organização da Mamut foi impecável do começo ao fim, e até nos lanches isso ficou evidente: teve Nutella no ponto de descanso, um cuidado que mostra a atenção da equipe com a gente.

One of favourite things in South America My wife and I loved our three day trek in the Vali. Sensational views, some tough climbs and a feeling of great satisfaction once we completed it. I’d recommend Mamut as the agency and Felipe as our guide for their organisation and contact support throughout. It feels like you’re going trekking with them rather than just a paying tourist/customer.

Tinha encontrado a Agência Mamut por sorte, através de um passeio que só eles oferecem, à cavalo. E agora que fui, percebo o tamanho da minha sorte, porque não só esse foi o melhor passeio que fiz na chapada como também tive o melhor atendimento do mundo em todos os dias que passei aí e em todas as outras aventuras que tive com eles. Vale frisar que em todos os passeios passeios a equipe foi extremamente pontual, o que pra mim vale muito. Preciso agradecer principalmente ao Marcelo, que foi muito receptivo e se desdobrou para que minha viagem com o meu irmão fosse perfeita. Tenho certeza que se tiver algo que o Marcelo não consiga providenciar aí na Chapada, ninguém providenciará. Agradeço demais o esforço e o cuidado que teve com a gente, a direção segura nessas estradas perigosas e o companhia maravilhosa. Quero agradecer também o Chiquinho, que propiciou os passeios à cavalo com a gente, o Bruno que nos acompanhou em um mega dia de cachoeiras e o Lino, que conduziu um passeio pelo pantanal de Marimbus que pareceu mágico. O começo do ano 2026 não poderia ser melhor... eu e minha namorada, decidimos por percorrer alguns dias pela Chapada Diamantina nos arredores de Lençois. E por uma feliz "garimpagem" (perdoe o trocadilho) encontramos a Mamut e Marcelo (guia de alto astral e figura ímpar). Nice experience! The trip was very nice and just as described. The communication and organization was very good, only thing: They told us that we don't need long pants, that it will be very hot. But the first day was rainy and windy so we got quite cold and felt uncomfortable & not very prepared. The difficulty of the hike can get also very hard as with full rain it gets very slippery. After this we had two splendid days and enjoyed it a lot. The views and the park is totally worth a visit.

Très peu d’explications et de consignes avant le trek, même sur l’équipement à avoir. Erreur dans le programme et sur l’heure de départ. Les distances indiquées sur leur site ne sont pas justes (20 km au lieu de 12). Les conditions météo ne nous ont pas permis d’atteindre notre objectif et nous avons dû prendre la décision par nous même de faire demi-tour car les conditions devenaient dangereuses et le trek se serait terminé à la nuit sans équipement prévu pour. Peu de professionnalisme et aucun geste commercial.

Rainy season is very nice because we see the waterfalls but bad because some custom profiles customer are not often on it. The guide agreed to come back because the weather and visit another attraction on your wayback. This is our protocol and it was not your part to decide about it. And saying like this is like if in our website it wasn’t on all itineraries is written “tours can be changed on rainy season or conditions the guides feels not safe”, so please pay more attention.

The experience with Mamut Tracking was nothing short of unforgettable — and I know that might sound like a cliché, but when you live it yourself, you’ll realize it truly enriches you as a person. Being immersed in such extraordinary nature is breathtaking, but it’s not just the scenery that leaves a mark: it’s the people too. Gabriel, Marcelo and Hans accompanied and supported us throughout the entire experience with a level of attentiveness, expertise and warmth that is truly rare. After one of our hikes, they took us to Vale do Capão, recommending local products and walking us through the village, proudly showing us the wonderful land they call home. The following day we ran into an unexpected issue: the bus back to Salvador was fully booked and we were at risk of missing our flight. We reached out to them and they immediately got to work finding an alternative solution, locating another bus departing from a town two hours away from Lençóis and even arranging a ride to get us there late in the evening. A service we wholeheartedly recommend. You are amazing — we absolutely must come back. Sending you a big hug, Emma and Paris ❤️​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We had an amazing time on our 3 day Vale do Pati trek with Mamut Trekking. Our guide Atila was super fun, enthusiastic and really knowledgeable in respect of the area and really looked after the group. Communication and organisation was seamless throughout the trek. Atila made sure we hit the best areas for swimming and, more importantly, the viewpoints at the right time or in the right weather conditions. The trek was beautiful. We also stayed in good accommodation both nights and the food was excellent! If you’re looking to hike Vale do Pati I would definitely go with Mamut.
