Dave turned our standard pantry closet into a beautiful and highly functional pull-out shelving unit. It’s smooth, solid, and makes accessing everything a breeze. He also built a stunning sliding table with an extra leaf that tucks away perfectly and extends effortlessly when we need more space. Dave is a skilled cabinet maker. We had a vision for upgrades to our coach. We stayed in the coach while he worked. Dave coordinated other people like Corina workers to complete our vision. It took two try’s but our new cabinets look like they were installed when the coach was made. Our 2008 Newmar now had modern cabinets that look as good as the ones installed by Newmar. It would be hard to tell which ones are original and whit h ones are new. Thanks Dave for making our vision a reality.

We are very pleased with the work Dave did for us. We weren’t happy with the Euro-booth dinette in our new Dutch Star. Dave built an executive desk that incorporated our exiting table. He perfectly matched the finish and style as well as the countertop. The quality of workmanship is beyond what I expected. The fit and finish were perfect. I provided measurements and coach details and the piece was ready to install when we arrived. Less than two hours later we were on our way. We highly recommend Custom RV Furniture to anyone looking to upgrade or customize their RV.

We were tired of our old furniture in our motorhome so we contacted Custom RV Furniture. This was on a recommendation from a group FB page. Talked with Dave regarding the changes we were thinking and he hit it out of the park. Pulled into his place and within a day he had everything installed. Best experience we have had! He is the most generous and knowledgeable man. Any idea you can come up with he can create to fit. I highly recommend this company for any RV modifications. We will definitely continue to use him!

This was such a wonderful experience for my family. Dave is amazing. Personable, professional and so kind. It was a small job and it didn’t matter. Dave took care of us and we are so happy with the outcome. We took out our rv stove and replace it with more drawers. He also let us take Gaby out for a buggy ride. Of course with him. Never done that before. It was so awesome!

Dave Borkholder is truly a gifted master craftsman. Dave did extensive revisions to the interior of our 40 foot rv last Spring. He was instrumental in completely revising the configuration of our interior by removing a full length slide L-shaped couch, removing and installing new carpet throughout the rv, removing our dishwasher (which was never used) and building and installing a new storage area in it’s place along with installing a new island workstation, removing the free standing table and building a new beautiful almost identical cabinet across the room to house the same free standing table, installing a fireplace in the cabinet where the original kitchen table stood, and extending many of our existing drawers thus freeing up space in our upper cabinets, as well as, designing and building miscellaneous shelving in our bedroom. Every aspect of his work has been completed with the very highest of quality. Along with producing an end product with this high quality, Dave is very innovative. If you have a dream or an idea of the end state you want to achieve, Dave will make that dream come true. We were so very fortunate to have found Dave and cannot recommend him and his work enough.

What an unbelievable craftsman and artist! Dave was a pleasure to work with. We arrived the night before so Dave would have early access on the day of fabrication and installation. We asked him to modify some current cabinetry in our bathroom and remove one of our double vanity sinks to install an RV washer dryer combo unit. His ability to match the cabinetry and install everything was amazing. I only took one pic during the process but will follow up with more pics later. I am including the before pic of what my idea was and a partially finished pic of what we received. I am more than pleased!!

Dave significantly improved the kitchen in our 2023 Keystone Montana Legacy 5th wheel by replacing the 1 pull out kitchen cabinet that was designed for the trash can with 3 wider drawers. This included widening the top drawer that was already in place. So, 4 wider drawers total, all with soft-close. He did an absolutely beautiful job! The drawers are high quality & the wood color match is perfect. He also turned the over-the-door, flat to the wall valence, into a box so that we can add in a pull-down shade. Additionally, he did all this in a day and with a joyful demeanor. We are very happy with the results!!!

Needed a sink taken out of our bedroom and replaced with a cabinet with drawers. It was tough because the front had to be at an angle. Dave did an excellent job on it. He even took the time to cut and cap all the sink lines. Highly recommend Dave.

David was a great host and hard worker. He is an expert carpenter with an advanced workshop plus old-time craftsmanship. You can't beat it! He is also a Harvest Host and let us boondock on his land for 2 days while he built and installed some custom furniture for our RV. He had no problem with us using the generator, opening slides, or letting the kids play on the land or join him in his workshop. He brought my family and I down the road by horse and buggy to get eggs from a friend of his. It was a great experience. He also referred me to a great upholstery expert nearby that we got our cushions from and it was a great referral.

My family and I got a custom dinette and shoe rack built by David, and the quality is second to none! For handmade, solid, well-built furniture, you can't beat the price either! David was an amazing host. He greeted us with homemade Zucchini bread, a smile, and a firm handshake. We traveled with our 3 children, curious as they were, Dave's patience was unmatched. As we stressed over their intrusion, he welcomed them into his workshop. They played on his chess board, dug through the scrap pile, and one even built his first makeshift table. Dave was so positive and so kind to our whole family. We will return to Dave for any future work we need, and you should too. From the farm to the workshop to his company, you'll never experience anything this remarkable.
