Wouldn't recommend the food here - overpriced and below average. The only good thing is the view.

Sestra i ja smo prespavale 21.5.26. u Erjavčevoj koči nakon povratka iz Bovca. Vršič i ova prekrasna kuća i osoblje, čistoća, urednost, kreativnost, odlična jela i Ajdovska deklica koja nas je čuvala s Prisojnika...učinili su naš boravak nezaboravnim. Imamo želju ponovo doći iz naše baze na Savici. Sve čestitke mladoj ekipi, riječi ne mogu opisati taj ugodan ambijent. I našu sobicu ˝GRS˝:) Veliko hvala i poljupci iz Splita. Amazing views, cold beer and delicious food! Definitely worth the stop for lunch if you are in the area. Parking is paid (like $4/hr or something) and coffee wasn’t great - stick with beer
Loved my stay here! The staff were great fun, food was delicious and all amenities were clean and functional!! The scenery was amazing, gorgeous sunsets over the mountains. Would happily return and recommend to others
Momci koji rade u baru su super. Sve je čisto, sredjeno i uredno. WC je zajednički. Dobro mesto za jednu noć.
Erjavčeva koča na Vršiču na nahaja na kranjskogorski strani Vršiške ceste, na razgledni vzpetini nad bližnjim hudournikom. Od koče se nam ob lepem vremenu odpre lep razgled na vrhove nad dolino Pišnice in delu gora nad vršiško cesto.

An incredibly place. The food was amazing, the entire place was totally spotless (bathrooms were so clean), staff was really friendly and down-to-earth and the guests who come are quiet, peaceful people who just want to hike and enjoy the view. My favourite place of my entire euro-trip
Great people make great experiences. That’s what does it for this convenient, clean hut.
Menu has some nice authentic choices. My wife thoroughly enjoyed one of the national soups. And I truly enjoyed the meatball potato dish. Packed some Apple strudels for breakfast for our early morning outing to nearby Mala Mojstrovka, courtesy of the friendly manager. He was so generous to our party: didn’t charge us for certain things, made the place super chill, made sure we were ok w everything.
What else?
- private room: clean, basic, did the job. Relatively quiet! Much nicer than some other loud noisy huts
- bathrooms: upstairs showers and toilets were v clean; hot water!
- electricity yes
- gave us sheet, comforter, towel
- location: one of best solutions for parking around Vrsic Pass: we chose this hut initially for this reason as we had to do a climb the next morning and they have dedicated parking for those staying over night.
Again, great sleeping solution near Vrsic Pass w the most hardworking and generous staff you can find!
