I had a really good experience at this urgent care considering the reason I was there. The staff was very caring and considerate and the nurse practitioner I saw was very helpful and listened to me and helped me get the best care. I would highly recommend this urgent care if you are in need.
The medical staff here are great. Especially Brittany. She COMPLETELY listened to me and found a resolution that had evaded several others. I love their treatment protocols. Just a great experience
Family member went in this weekend for an infection and was supposed to be prescribed medication. The prescription was never order. No way to communicate with their office. No after hours help or etc. You would think you could trust a medical facility to be able to prescribe your treatments and medication effectively. Ultimately, if there was an issue at least have procedures in place to be able to ensure the effective treatment of your patients. No care in the world from their management this morning as well about concerns. The way a buisness responds to issues whether common or rare shows a lot about the integrity of leadership. Our experience has been extremely negative and borderline combative from the management.
Update: Their response is that my review is not accurate and that prescriptions are sent electronically at the time of the visit, which makes it even worse since the prescription was not sent and we had to get another provider today to prescribe the medication. Do not act like situations are hearsay to avoid responsibility.

Prescriptions are handled during the visit and sent electronically. In situations where care cannot be completed or communication is limited after hours, patients are advised of our operating procedures in advance so they can seek alternative care if needed.

Eminence Urgent Care is the best urgent care I have ever been to! the NPs, Erika and Carrleigh took excellent care of all of my concerns. I can easily recommend Eminence without a shadow of doubt for all of your urgent care needs!
Always a great experience at Eminence! If anyone in my family is in need of an urgent care, we make the 30+ minute drive to Eminence. Every experience we have had has been efficient, professional, and always a super personable provider!
I’ve been seen at this office many times and everyone is always the sweetest with lots of smalls and jokes to lighten the mood! They waste no time getting patients to rooms, quick and very efficient. Thorough and honest. The NPs are very* knowledgeable and have always explained everything to the best of their ability! They always do what they can and if further assistance is needed elsewhere they help get it all set up, such as referrals and all. Definitely one of the best places to go in my opinion and I’m not a huge doctor person in all honesty. I always feel comfortable and well taken care of here!(:

Let me tell you about Eminence in Shelby who just earned the Best of Shelby in Urgent Care.
On a Sunday, the Dr screwed up and didn't send in a prescription for an infection that needed immediate attention before they closed at 2. Not only are their hours not very extensive for a weekend, Eminence's message said no one would be available to resolve this issue until 9 AM Monday. In the meantime, I continued to suffer at their expense.
What I find unacceptable in this facilities protocol is that if a person makes a mistake at the expense of a patient's health, there should be a means of communication to resolve medical mistakes/issues. Most medical groups have an on call support system for contacting doctors.
The owner of Eminence, Al disagrees and told me to never come back. He obviously doesn't care about our health and owning up to process improvements.
Is that the kind of Urgent Care treatment we want to reward in Shelby County?

Like many urgent care clinics, we operate within clearly posted weekend hours, and we do not maintain a 24/7 on-call system. Patients are informed of this upfront so they can make the best decision for their care needs.
Second, we did attempt to address the situation appropriately within our policies. However, healthcare is a collaborative process. When a patient refuses to allow providers to complete treatment or follow standard procedures, it limits what any medical office can safely and responsibly do.
It is also worth noting that a pattern of consistently negative reviews toward multiple medical offices suggests a broader mismatch in expectations. Not every practice is the right fit for every patient, and in this case, it became clear that our office was not the right fit.
Finally, we stand behind the care we provide. Being voted “Best Urgent Care in Shelby County” two years in a row reflects the consistent experience of the vast majority of our patients—timely, professional, and high-quality care delivered by a dedicated team.

I’ve been here 2 times and I’ve had nothing but good experiences here! Triage was quick and the medical provider came into the room in no time at all. Very polite and courtesy staff as well. Was not disappointed with the service provided either times I’ve come here.
I came in today to get my 18 month old looked at. The experience could not have been better under the circumstances. The front desk team and Brittney the nurse practitioner were both absolutely incredible. They got us in and out quickly with the answers we needed.
After years of bad experiences at various AFC locations across the state, I knew it was time to try a different practice. Eminence exceeded my expectations. Facilities were sparkling, receptionist was communicative and friendly, and NPs were relatable and professional. The overall atmosphere was relaxing with calm music playing. I will be returning here for my future urgent care needs 👍
