Very dismissive and unfriendly. A complete waist of my time and my $300.
I felt uneasy the minute the Nurse Practitioner (not a doctor) came to collect me. After a 7 minute Interrogation from a Google doc questionaire, literally (I asked) she very matter of factly told me that she would not be filling my prescription that I have had for 6 years and that I needed to be prescribed something totally unrelated. Yes after a 7 minute conversation!??
For my own safety I got up and left. I went back to the office the next day for a refund. They said they would refund me because the office visit was less than 16 mins. I did not know that was a thing. Now YOU do. I said I need my prescription not the refund so they set me up for a telehealth call that same day. I felt thankful. Until... Another Nurse Practitioner said and acted the exact same way. I felt, out of spite. I am sure she read the comments from the prior appt. Another waiste of my time. And still no prescription. No follow up since. July 2. Do your self a favor and heed the multiple complaints and stay away.
do not work with chip zeller. stay FAR AWAY if you need medical help. youtube and tiktok mental health advice is better than dna behavioral health.
their practices are not legal. i paid money to get an EEG test from someone who doesn’t even have the authority to send over the proper paperwork. both practices still allowed me to get the test done. have i gotten a single result in over a month? no. my family and i are concerned as this was A NEUROLOGICAL TEST. and i still cannot receive any answers unless i get a primary care doctor! no communication whatsoever. the portal? for some therapists, apparently it’s just an app to sit on their phone but never touch.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with DNA Behavioral Health.
My biggest concern was the lack of transparency regarding costs. Before treatment, I was asked to provide my debit card information, but I was never clearly informed what my out-of-pocket responsibility would be or what my insurance would and would not cover. After several sessions, my account was charged without any prior discussion of the amount I would owe.
These unexpected charges created a significant financial hardship for me. I contacted the billing department hoping they would work with me or offer a solution, but instead I felt dismissed. Rather than addressing my concerns about the lack of cost disclosure, I was given a basic explanation of how deductibles work. I already understand deductibles. My concern was that I was never clearly informed of the charges before my card was billed.
I have reached out multiple times by phone and email seeking assistance, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Because of this, I have disputed the charges with my bank and am pursuing every available avenue to resolve the matter, including filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
If you are considering this provider, I strongly encourage you to ask for a detailed breakdown of all expected costs and obtain confirmation of your financial responsibility before providing payment information or beginning treatment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Their remote service didn't connect and I didn't receive an immediate follow-up call from the therapist. Instead they want to send me a bill. You're fired!

We're glad to hear it, Jason! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with our team. Have a great day!
The therapists and front office are excellent.
Unfortunately, I was mistakenly overbilled and have been unable to resolve the situation. Over the course of three months, I have communicated with billing staff, the billing supervisor, the individual responsible for client billing, a corporate attorney, and the chief compliance officer, but have nonetheless been unsuccessful.
Despite having provided them with proof of the overpayment, including documentation from my bank and credit card company, they have seemingly chosen to ignore the situation without explanation.
So while I have been very pleased with the front office and therapy staff, I unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.

I've been going to Elite DNA for years. I see Courtland Patterson for my medication management. He's been very helpful and I'm grateful to assist with my treatment who's as knowledgable as he is. I've so many therapists, physician assistants, doctors, and psychiatrist throughout my life since I was a child, and him, Jessica Shuler (my therapist at Elite DNA), and my primary care doctor have been the best. Thank you to Courtland Patterson and Jessica Schuler for all of your help. The other staff at Elite DNA who answer the phones are very helpful too.

Amazing and helpful service
Kiera was incredibly kind and supportive when I called about scheduling an appointment for my daughter. She made the process so easy and ensured everything was handled smoothly. Her helpful and sweet demeanor truly stood out and left such a positive impression. A great experience overall!

Professional and friendly assistance
Had trouble confirming my appointment online as I couldn’t receive the security code via text or voice message. I called the Estero front office, and Kiera went above and beyond to help. She confirmed appointment quickly and was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional throughout the process. Her outstanding customer service made what could have been a frustrating experience much easier. Scott A.

I engaged Elite DNA Behavioral Health seeking legitimate clinical efficacy for severe sleep latency disorder and acute anxiety directly triggered by an upcoming medical biopsy. Regrettably, the experience devolved into a redundant, financially exorbitant cycle characterized by the systemic trial of ineffective pharmaceuticals that yielded zero therapeutic benefit.
Subsequently, when I chose to exercise autonomy over my health protocol and transparently discussed managing this biopsy-related stress, the clinical response from my provider was profoundly deficient in professional empathy. Rather than offering constructive, patient-centered care during a period of acute vulnerability, she chose to weaponize a highly unprofessional, stigmatizing aphorism—accusing me of 'chasing the dragon'—simply because an alternative regimen proved superior to her prescription pad.
For prospective patients seeking an authentic therapeutic partnership predicated on clinical integrity rather than the optimization of corporate billing metrics, I strongly advise seeking care elsewhere. The approach here was manipulative, patronizing, and fundamentally unaligned with ethical patient care.

2 stars because I like my provider Susan George, HOWEVER the billing dept here is centralized and it is TERRIBLE. Someone keeps deleting my insurance on file and claiming mental health is not covered and I keep calling them to tell them it is.. called my insurance and no one even called to verify if it was so they are just pulling info out of their butts. I conference called billing and my insurance so they could have a reference number stating the benefit was on my plan, the woman in billing said everything was updated, etc. I get charged self pay AGAIN so I call the billing again and they tell me there is no reference number listed. At this point I have just been contemplating leaving this place altogether because this has been ongoing since May, to have someone consistently delete my insurance without verification is mind boggling to me. And the front desk has the worst customer service, trying to tell me I am wrong about how insurance works when I sell health insurance for a living so yes I know how it works! Frustrating.

My brother had an appointment at 1pm. We had all the pre check-in stuff completed and we were waiting on the video from 12:55 to 1:33–and when I finally hung up and called them to find out what is going on, they told me the APRN/pysician/whatever waited 10 minutes and hung up—didn’t even have the decency to call and figure out what was wrong on their side (but they lied and said they did—but phone records don’t lie). When I called to try and figure out what was going on, got nothing but pass-the-buck, worthless, idiocy all around. Nothing but a colossal waste of time. Watch them lie and try to bill for this. Disgusting. Shameful. Don’t even bother, totally worthless.

I am being denied usage of the sliding scale fee that I personally applied for and was approved for. The supervisor, Priscilla Hagedorn gave me a hard time getting it approved back in March but did approve it only problem is she refuses to apply it to my account, she will only apply it to my husband's account. I didn't even apply for him and my husband never applied for himself. She has repeatedly shifted the blame on me like I did something wrong meanwhile she dropped the ball and won't admit it and fix it. She thinks that gaslighting and blame shifting onto a mental health patient who's trying to rightfully obtain services they were approved for is a better way to cover her failure at doing her job. I'm currently trying to escape a domestic violence situation and it's killing me that I can't get access to what I need but my abuser is. And to top it all off I'm being psychologically abused by an employee of a mental health office.

Great, friendly, and professional staff and please be patient with the artificial intelligence; however a real human being is available if you get too flustered with the artificial intelligence. High quality level of service providers, and simply amazing therapy service. I highly recommend this place if you or your child is in need of mental therapy.

Very disappointing experience. Before my child’s scheduled 6:00 p.m. Zoom therapy appointment, the therapist left me a voicemail saying our outstanding balance needed to be paid and instructed me to call the office. However, the office was already closed, so there was no way to reach anyone or make a payment before the appointment.
We were still able to join the Zoom session, so we assumed the appointment was still moving forward. We waited for 45 minutes, but the therapist never joined, and no one contacted us during that time.
If the appointment was not going to take place because of the balance, it should have been canceled in advance or there should have been a way to resolve the payment issue before the office closed. Instead, my child and I were left waiting online for 45 minutes with no explanation.
Mental health appointments are important, and families deserve clear communication and respect for their time. I hope they improve their billing and scheduling process so this doesn’t happen to others.
The lack of communication and follow-through made it feel like our time and my child’s care were not a priority. I also expect that neither I nor my insurance will be billed for a session that never took place.
