From the front desk staff to Dr. Cockley and her team of professionals (including IBCLC, OT/CLC and feeding therapist, OMT, and CST), the entire team is professional, thorough, and are genuine about the care your baby/family receives. Dr. Cockley isnāt your average dentist! She is knowledgeable and values the benefit in a collaborative team approach and guides how best to support your baby as an individual.
As a guy whoās never exactly loved going to the dentist, East Berlin Smiles completely changed my outlook. The team here is top-notch ā friendly, skilled, and genuinely caring. The office itself is beautiful, modern, and spotless, and you canāt beat the convenient location with easy parking right out front. Every visit feels smooth and relaxed, and the staff keep things lighthearted while doing truly excellent work. Letās just say the dental assistant isnāt just sweet and funny ā sheās got a brilliant personality that makes the whole experience a lot easier to smile about. Let me start off by saying that I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. My entire life. And one day someone recommended that I go see Dr Lori Cockly. And at the time I had multiple issues that I had been postponing because of my dread of going to the dentist. Even though I knew postponing was only going to make things worse. And finally, I want to see Dr. Cockly and it was the most incredible dental experience of my life. I told her right off the bat that I was a coward when it came to going to the dentist. And the way she comforted me and made me feel it is was amazing. And all of her staff were equally sensitive and caring and fun loving. I had to have Several procedures done and threw it all. It was the best experience I ever had in going to the dentist. I couldnāt even believe how there was no pain. And previously several of my experiences were very difficult. Especially the last time I went to the dentist prior to seeing Dr. Cockly. Now I have no fear of going to the dentist at all. Because I have Dr. Cockly to depend on. I canāt say this enough. If you are looking for a dentist that you can trust and someone who will take their time and address all your questions And concerns, then you need to see Dr. Cockly. And I have been going to see Dentists for over 50 years. I have referred so many people to her and they all report back to me a similar experience. I even had one of my friends send me a little gift, thanking me for the referral. I wish I was better with words so that I could better explain how incredible she is. She has a true dedication to her craft like no other. Even down to her voice and how she talks to you. It is so comforting, knowing that I never have to worry about going to the dentist again. No more delaying in creating bigger problems. So please go see Dr. Cockly if you want the best dentist in the world. Thank you Dr. Cockly for changing my mind about dental work. You are my hero.

East Berlin Smiles/The Tongue Tie Center has been taking such good care of our family since 2017. From revising tongue and lip ties on our 3 youngest as newborns, to revising tongue and lip ties on our 9yo with amazing Myofunctional Therapy support from Lindsey, to revising my own tongue, lip, and buccal ties in adulthood with exceptional support from Lindsey and Moriah for Myo and Craniosacral Therapies; they have seen us through so much! The teamās expertise and gentle approach have given us the treatment, support, and resources needed to successfully meet our unique goals. The teamās dedication allowed our newborns to breastfeed and forego the speech, headaches, digestive and dental concerns of their unrevised family. For the 9yo and myself, their knowledge and guidance allowed us to drastically reduce the frequency and intensity of our headaches, aided us with achieving proper and effective breathing and tongue placement (allowing us to dramatically improve our sleep quality), relieve tension and pain in our faces/jaws, and more effectively eat and drink which has aided in digestive and oral health. We are so thankful for Dr. Cockley and the entire team for providing our family with such exemplary care!
Dr. Cockley and her staff at East Berlin Smiles / Pennsylvania Tongue Tie Center are in a class of their own. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the quality of care is at the top. The Tongue-Tie Center is calming and welcoming to families. Dr. Cockley has a great group of professionals to help with the specialties needed to support families of tongue tied babies, as well older children and adults of all ages! There is Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Occupational Therapy / Feeding Therapy, Craniosacral therapy all under one roof! Tongue ties can lead to many challenges such as eating, speaking, sleep problems, snoring, sleep apnea, TMJ, headaches, facial pain and tension, tongue thrust swallows and so much more. This place and their staff are so wonderful. They were so kind, patient, and welcoming from the start. They found a pretty restrictive tongue tie on our baby that we never wouldāve known about and we are now hopefully on the road to a happier him. I was not expecting the extra lactation consultant and bodywork suggestions which was so thoughtful and helpful! Itās well worth the investment if this is something your child needs.
