We recently had our bathroom installed by Darren. After originally contacting Darren 3 years ago, due to personal reasons, we had to delay our bathroom refit but knew he was the right person to do the job.
When we contacted Darren 3 years later he still had all the details and was able to provide a new upto date quote.
From the start we were kept upto date with everything. On the week of installation Darren and Rob were very professional, the house was kept tidy and we were asked everyday if we had questions.

Overall, we were very happy with DS bathrooms start-to-finish, and have been using our new en-suite for a week now and it's been fantastic!
Darren was very transparent throughout, including when unforeseen circumstances put our install week back by a couple of months. It was worth the wait. Each morning we were asked if we had any questions, and the entire installation was performed while we were working from home with minimal impact.
Highly recommend, and one day we'll be back for our main bathroom!

Of the many bathroom fitting experiences I have had over a lifetime, this was by far the easiest and least stressful. Darren and Rob are lovely lads, real gentlemen who make a slick and efficient team, starting the job on the scheduled day and finishing in 4 days. Darren's design skills and gentle persuasion in the face of someone with old fashioned ideas have given me a bathroom beyond my expectations. I love it! Would recommend them 100%.

Needed some minor work done in the bathroom and en-suite. Told Darren what my thoughts were but he explained why my ideas won't work and he reduced the amount of work required. Obviously this meant he earned less. He could have just carried out my ideas (I'm sure some companies would have) but this demonstrates how he wants to do the best for his customers.
After the work was completed and Darren had left I messaged him with a query. He replied in a timely manner and answered my question satisfactorily.
The work done is to a high standard and there was no mess left behind.
I found Darren to be very honest and both he and Rob respected my home as well as me and my husband. At every stage, from first contacting him to the completion of the work it was a pleasure dealing with him. He has pride in his work and it was evident that he wants to do the best job possible.

Darren gave us a quote to renovate our very tired 70's en-suite. He designed two equally inspired options to choose from. Darren is in such demand the wait time was 2 months for a start date but the marvelous outcome at completion was well worth the wait. The latest instalment of bathroom projects with Darren and Rob of DS Bathrooms.
I initially engaged with DS Bathrooms in Aug 2021, asking for a quote for the master bedroom's ensuite. This install took place in May 2022, followed by the downstairs toilet in December 2023, main family bathroom in January 2024 and my final ensuite in Jan 2026. There's more than one reason I kept asking Darren and Rob back...
Design expertise - I never had my own clear vision of what I wanted each room to look at. Darren was great at understanding a rough vision of the requirement and offering design advice and guidance which resulted in 4 projects I was delighted with
Expert communication - Every project was discussed and documented at each stage. This made it really clear for me to understand not only what I was getting, but how much it would cost and when it would be completed
Timeliness - Every project was set out with a clear plan in the quote including when each milestone payment would be due. This made life very easy for me and ensured there was no project slippage or cost creep
Quality of Work - Without this, the rest is meaningless. The final quality of each project is excellent. My vague ambition was for high quality rooms and the design met this ask. The expertise of Darren and Rob ensured that the quality of work delivered the vision of the initial design.
Overall a very happy customer! If I had more bathrooms I wouldn't look anywhere else.

We spent significant time researching bathroom designers and fitters and received quotes from 2. We decided to use Darren as he was thorough in the initial survey and completely transparent with the options and with pricing. Darren took additional time to explore the size of fitment which enabled us to increase the size of the shower. Darren was diligent and patient with us as we looked at the colour options and helped us to choose a colour scheme that was sympathetic.
The work was completed to an exceptional standard and within the expected timescale, even though the bathroom was bigger than the average. We are more than happy with the new bathroom and all of the communication we had with Darren and would not hesitate to recommend him.
When we were looking at having our tired bathroom replaced, we had looked at exploring a few quotes. However, on meeting Darren we immediately decided that his company was the one we were going to use. He doesn't employ any high pressure selling - financials aren't discussed at the initial appointment - leaving you time to make your own mind up later when the quote follows by email.
He priced additional options and, now that the bathroom is installed, he obviously only uses materials of the highest calibre. He was easily reachable whenever we had questions about possible further options and was always willing to give his professional opinion on whether they were necessary or viable.
The waiting list for installation was approximately 6 months, which is testament to how in demand his services are.
A few days before installation, we received a reminder call so we could make space for materials storage, access and egress etc.
Darren and Rob arrived right on time on day 1 and spent a lot of time meticulously protecting the floors and furniture in the house before removing the old bathroom suite. Everything was coordinated, from the day the electrician would arrive, to sorting out removal of waste afterwards.
Aftercare and warranties have also been explained to us, so we have confidence that in the event anything goes wrong, it'll be remedied.
The finished installation is out of this world (look on their social media for examples of work done). We would highly recommend. A++
