I chose Do It now Moving Services BECAUSE of the 5 star reviews. I unfortunately didn't receive a 5 start service. When I reached out, I sent videos and pictures of the job I needed done- a pack and move out of a house with 2 furnished bedrooms + an office with a small guest house. I was assured the job could be completed with a team of 4 across 2 days, I moved forward in booking and Gabriel even stopped by the day before our packing day to do a walk through and take his own photos. The day of packing arrived and a team of 3 showed up to pack. The youngest guy on the job was routinely on his phone (it took him about 45 minutes to take apart one bed that had taken my husband a maximum of 15 minutes just the weekend before). When the team left for the day, I reached out to Gabriel telling him i was stressed with how much was remaining and was told "just trust us and try to relax" and that the job would be taken care of on moving day. Moving day came about and the team arrived 50 minutes late but with a 4th person to load the truck in the most inefficient way possible requiring multiple trips to the new house for unloading. I reached out to Gabriel early afternoon asking what we needed to do to get things moving at a proper pace and was assured things would be done by end of day. By 8:15, i reached out yet again to let him know multiple huge items had been missed, closets, cabinets, a whole vanity desk, patio furniture. The response was that "everyone gave it their all." Meanwhile the team needed to get the truck back to the dock by a certain time, unloaded our bedroom furniture with zero care- dropped a side table and chipped it- and left the rest of the items on the truck in the garage. Despite us needing to be out of the home we were leaving by end of moving day, we were unable to turn in our keys on time due to having to return to the house to finish the job, resulting in us having to pay an additional day of rent. To make matters worse, the team simply taped the drawers of our dresser and side tables instead of wrapping things properly, and the heat and adhesive resulted in stripping the finishing. A TV had simply been shoved in a box without any wrapping or protection and was shattered, as well as a large planter. And Gabriel found many of our belongings still on the truck that had to be returned to us. While we ultimately reached a solution at the end, i feel it extremely necessary to warn others that if you have a large job this may not be the company for you. And most importantly to leave an extra day as a buffer in case you need to return to finish things yourself. This couldn't have been a more stressful or less efficient move.

I interviewed and got quotes from a number of moving companies in Miami and Do It Now Moving was BY FAR the most professional and responsive from the jump. Their rates were competitive and fair, and the owner Gabriel personally contacted me every step of the way to organize my moving day. He even handled the move on the day of, along with 3 other lovely individuals who packed my things carefully and moved them swiftly. I will 100% be using them again the next time I move.
