I had an excellent experience on a one night Milky Way photography workshop in Teide National Park The guides were fantastic and very friendly, and I was able to make use of some great star-tracking equipment with my own camera to capture some epic shots. The workshop was a small group so we pretty much had one-to-one tuition the whole evening. I would highly recommend this company.

Had a fantastic time photographing the night skies. Phil was super helpful with the set of the gear to allow me to take some great shots of Milky Way and Deep Sky Objects. I was worried at first about the cloudy conditions but the skies cleared for 4 nights of astrophotography. I would throughly recommend Dark Skies Tenerife to any Astro shooters.

The Dark Skies team couldn't have been more helpful. They arranged excellent accomodation for me for the week, and took me to and from the airport. I was a complete novice with regard to astronomy, and when I stepped out of the car the first night to a world of stars, it was amazing. I will never forget that feeling. I was even able to get a deep sky photo of the Andromeda Galaxy. Awesome! Sadly the weather wasn't perfect all week, but Phil went out of his way to make sure that I got some great sunset photos and views of Mt Tiede. Highly recommended.

Of course, the location was amazing, but it was the expertise, experience, and equipment that truly made the most of it. We were picked up from an apartment that Dark Skies recommended — also excellent — then chauffeured up the mountain, with plenty of interesting insights along the way. We arrived at a superb sunset vantage point, followed by an ideal spot for photographing the night sky. I’m still enjoying working on the photos months later.

What an amazing experience. Did the astrology and photography night sky experience. Was blown away! I only had an iPhone pro max but the shots I got of the moon and Milky Way are stunning. Phil was an excellent guide and made our tour really personal and interesting. They really know their stuff and where to go to get the best views. Can’t recommend highly enough. So much so that we will be booking again next time we are on the island!

Sita and Phil created an unforgettable night for me. The astrophotography workshop was totally incredible—Phil shared his knowledge with so much passion and enthusiasm. I love witnessing people who genuinely care about what they are doing, because it makes you enjoy too. Tenerife has one of the best skies in the world for astronomy, and experiencing it is something you shouldn’t miss. It’s worth every cent.

I recently spent 5 days in Tenerife and joined the 4-night astrophotography workshop with Dark Skies Tenerife. Phil was my guide and the whole experience was amazing. We went to different locations across the island, each more beautiful than the last, and I got to learn all the basics — from setting up the gear properly to capturing everything from deep-sky objects to the Milky Way. Phil is not only a fantastic guide but also an incredibly kind person. His knowledge of both the stars and Tenerife in general is outstanding, and he explains everything in a way that makes it easy to learn. I 100% recommend this workshop to anyone interested in stargazing or astrophotography — it was an unforgettable experience!
