I joined the September cohort at Dallas Data Science Academy while exploring a career change, and this program exceeded every expectation I had. I’ve always loved math, statistics, and analytical thinking, so I was excited (but also nervous)—to learn coding. From the very first session, our instructor, Vamsi Nell, eased my worries. He has a gift for breaking down complex concepts through storytelling, making the material accessible to students from all backgrounds and careers. Vamsi was consistently supportive throughout the course—answering my questions by email, revising course work, offering clarity during class sessions, and even providing 1-on-1 coaching and Q&A opportunities. His dedication truly made a difference in my learning experience. Because of this course, I now have a solid understanding of the data science life cycle, know how to use GenAI to assist with Python coding, and can apply machine learning techniques to make predictions from data. I’ve gained practical skills that I can use moving forward. If you’re considering this program, I highly recommend it ! It has has opened the door to new opportunities I’m excited to pursue.

I attended Data Science Academy in Dallas in 2019, where I completed their data science course. Overall, it was a solid learning experience that helped me build a strong foundation in the field. The curriculum covered essential topics such as statistics, Python programming, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and machine learning concepts. Vamsi is very knowledgeable and approachable, always willing to revisit topics or explain concepts with real-world examples and we still keep in touch. I particularly appreciated the hands-on exercises and small projects, which made the learning more practical and less theoretical. The classroom environment was supportive, and the batch size was small enough to allow individual attention. For someone new or leveling up in data science or AI it's a one stop to go. All the best.

I recently completed the Data Science, Machine Learning & AI Bootcamp, and I can't recommend the Dallas Data Science Academy enough! Coming back after a long career gap, I was unsure if I could keep up but joining this course was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Vamsi, an IIT graduate with deep understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning, is also an outstanding instructor, explains complex concepts in a simple, relatable way. His teaching style is highly practical, we don’t just watch, we follow along step by step, which is where the real learning happens. Even if sessions run late, Vamsi patiently stays back to ensure every question is answered. Beyond the classes, Vamsi continues to offer 1:1 guidance, resume support, and mock interviews — something I deeply appreciate. Every assignment or email receives thoughtful feedback. He is extremely humble, encouraging, and genuinely invested in his students' growth and success. And yes, his sense of humor is just the cherry on top. 😊 The course content is relevant, up-to-date, and evolves continuously. What makes this course different is that you learn how to learn necessary tools/programs instead of memorizing theory from a textbook. Vamsi (the instructor) is very patient, kind, and is skilled at explaining concepts in an easy and practical way.
