Al llegar las primeras, nos pusieron delante del cantaor y los bailaores/as, nos trataron más que bien y todos han sido increíbles; Andrea Prieto, Elena Arévalo y Jesús Hinojosa tienen un arte que no les cabe en el cuerpo y, Nano Cortés (cantaor) ya ni te cuento la voz que tiene tan preciosa. Al final del show, preguntamos si nos podíamos hacer una foto con ellos y por supuesto con cariño se la hicieron. Muy contenta con mi experiencia y volvería mil veces más.
This was unfortunately a disappointing experience.
The cave delivers an appealing ambiance, with domed ceiling and whitewashed walls and Flamenco memorabilia.
But the performance was lackluster. Actually, the three women who danced did pour their very best effort into the show, despite the fact that they crank out four of these shows every night. The three dancers were of varying ages and seemed to represent three different stages of experience. They supported one another and delivered moving performances.
But the two men (the guitarist and the singer/cahon player) were useless. The guitarist displayed intermediate skill and his guitar refused to stay in tune. He did try to tune it periodically, between songs, but it didn't hold the tuning and most of his music suffered from poor pitch (and limited ability). When an audience member near him whispered to her friend, he shushed her angrily. It's true that good manners and proper respect for performers dictate that the audience should not talk during Flamenco, but he was such a grump--and he himself seemed to be phoning it in, as disinterested in the show as he possibly could be. And the singer? He seemed so bored. Or maybe he was ill. Once during the show, he got up to use the bathroom, and the performance halted and waited for him to return. He also seemed to be rote and lifeless, and did virtually nothing with the cahon (he slapped it once at the end of a piece to deliver a sort of "ta-da" finale, but that's not very sophisticated rhythmically). Those poor women worked so hard to hold everything up. The men sabotaged their efforts.
To be honest, most of the audience assembled here seemed to enjoy the show and think things were great. I guess I've just been lucky to hear Flamenco performed by outstanding talent and commitment, so this show seemed lackluster.
For people trying to decide where to see Flamenco in Granada, I guess my advice would be: choose a tablao that offers only one performance per night, or maybe just a couple of shows per week. It's gotta be hard on performers to crank out bunches of shows and make each performance feel lively and from the heart. The show we saw really suffered from performer apathy.
Easily the best flamenco show i have ever seen. The dancing, the music, the atmosphere were all amazing. I suggest getting your tickets early bc there were all booked up for the dinner as well.

Bajaba de la visita al Sacromonte y de camino pasé por la cueva, pregunté y como no tenía reserva me dijeron que si quería esperar y quedaba sitio libre podría entrar, tuve suerte, saque ticket y pude disfrutar del espectáculo. Muy bonito, improvisado, a tope de gente. Valió la pena la espera, flamenco en una cueva, preciosa experiencia. Muy recomendable.
Una experiencia diferente para el que no lo ha visto antes, como en mi caso.
Las bebidas quizás algo caras, pero el importe de la entrada,.... se lo ganan sudando.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 25th anniversary in our favorite city Granada. We just love the city and also Flamenco. We usually watch 2 shows a day in different locations. Los Amayas definitely must to book place. Everything was so spectacular. You don’t realize how fast was one hour show. Friendly atmosphere, excellent dancers, singer and guitarist as well. Fantastisch leuke flamenco show in erg sfeervolle kamer. Bij binnenkomst gelijk een drankje en in een ongedwongen sfeer zingen en dansen ze vol met expressie en passie.
A very good flamenco experience. I didn’t get to compare with others, but the cave creates an immersive atmosphere. The dancers and musicians are incredibly talented, making the performance truly captivating .It’s a must-visit for flamenco lovers and memorable cultural experience

Abuso y maltrato
La peor experiencia y el mal servicio. Por falta de transporte por Semana Santa llegamos tarde y nos maltrataron severamente en la entrada. Un par de hermanos que trabajan en el lugar, una mujer y hombre, el hombre me gritó horrible y casi me golpea, nosotros no habíamos reclamado nada pero el salió a decirnos que nosotros queríamos molestar a los demás llegando tarde. Fue una pesadilla, andábamos 9 personas miembros de mi familia que habían venido a la cueva por mi recomendación, pero la verdad no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto.
