Referred to CAH from sister vet in Dunedin for abdominal ultrasound on my dog. Very happy with Dr. Block and the entire staff who helped my dog (and me) through his gallbladder removal and recovery! They were caring, compassionate and truly concerned about my dog's well being! Highly recommend their services!
They are very affordable. The staff was caring towards my cat and they offered her a treat.
I forget the names of the girls who helped me:( The Dr who worked on Friday March 6th 2026 was AMAZING. And the techs as well. They didn’t mind me badgering them with questions and almost crying bc my baby wasn’t feeling good 😢 they were so helpful in many ways and just overall great 👏🏻 10/10 experience
The people at this place are amazing. They will take care of your pet and make sure you are comfortable as well. Not every visit is a simple checkup, or routine visit. When things get scary they really shined a bit of light. They let him keep his blanket and they also helped with a carrier for my boy as he lost his rear legs mobility! Prices were also very reasonable!
Brought our little Chiawawa/Jack Russell in he had a cough wasn't sure what it was. However the staff took every precaution not to infect any of the facility. They had me carry him in straight to a room just incase and not to expose any other animals. However thank goodness he wasn't contagious but can never be to careful. Gave him medicine and he is doing great now. Again thank you to all the staff.
I am so glad I picked this place to bring my cat, Ada. We saw Dr Iverson & her assistant. Ada was so calm while she was being examined. The exam was $40! They are very knowledgeable. I have decided to make them our forever vet spot. The next morning Lex the lady at the front desk called to check on Ada.
A great place to bring your furry family member. THE BEST 💥
They were very understanding when I brought my paralyzed pup. They helped me with referrals to the specialist.
Great Animal Hospital. They were great when I brought my dog check up and shots and when I had to bring my dog in for end of life. Very compassionate and price was very reasonable.
The staff was absolutely wonderful, they squeezed my pup in last minute when her normal vet couldn’t and treated her like a princess! Dr. Block was wonderful and really took the time to look her over and dispel the concerns I had as well as thoroughly educate me. We will now be regulars of theirs!🙂
I've lived in the St Pete area for over 45 years. Always had a dog and a cat, so you can imagine I've been in almost every vet office in the area. By far best experience I've had, all the doctors there are amazing and the staff are equally kind, knowledgeable, compassionate. Always open on the weekends, amazing care and very fair pricing...all up front.
Staff is wonderful.
Stay away if you love your baby! Pictures tell a thousand words. I brought in my soul dog Baby and they diagnosed her with osteoarthritis by wiggling her leg a little and not one x-ray. They immediately, enthusiasticly suggested Librela, the miracle drug,
with no warnings, verbally, written, nothing. She has six injections total and at that time I was not aware that it exasperates dementia along with creating other neurological disorders that she had to endure along with ataxia and incontinence. She got to the point where she barely walked I would have to help her. She died 6 months after her first injection. The doctor's knew not give Librela to a dog who is showing signs of any kind of dementia at all but they did anyway. My mother brought her dog there. He got Apoquel for itching, about 8 months later he stopped eating and took his last breath. I then took in my new rescue she's a Shih Tzu so they get very itchy they gave her immediately Cytopoint injection about 2 weeks after that she slowly stopped eating, sleeping a lot, crying out in pain and then I noticed blood in her urine and she had a bladder infection and a possible cancer in her bladder. Cytopoint does in fact hinder the immune system. The corporate doctors in this office know all of this they're very aware they give us no warning whatsoever! They're corporate buyouts and big pharma kickbacks killed two of my dogs and almost my third. I guess that's more important to them.
Great office, very big on customer service. Love the way they treated myself and our pets. I won't go anywhere else.
The staff took great care of my sweet cat Debian on her journey over the rainbow bridge. We received a plaster cast of her paw and a sweet card from all the staff.
