I hired them after speaking with 6 companies. They are reasonably priced (not the cheapest or most expensive) and can do drywall and painting. Some painters could only paint and I was going to have to find a dry wall person too but they can do it all. When he quotes you, he measures and gives times and calculates cost. I liked them a lot. Plus their online system you can add little bit at a time. So if you get 10 items quotes but only want to do 2, then in 3 months add 3 thing already quoted, you can. They don’t pressure and I liked that. When they did the work, double and triple check it was done as you wanted, as I did find quite a few things not up to snuff. Especially the prep work like removing the outlet covers and mild patch work. However, after I found the issues, they made it right and fixed it throughly.

Columbus Painting painted and repaired the interior walls of our home in Grandview Heights,Ohio. We really like the results. The crew worked diligently to repair the plaster and paint the walls and ceilings. Adam was very prompt, addressed all of our concerns and was a great help picking out the right colors. We chose Columbus Painting after getting 3 highly-rated companies to give us estimates. They were the most complete and professional in their review of our 2-story, 4-bedroom house and our painting requirements, and NOT the most expensive. Work started the day we approved the estimate. They finished 4 working days later, with full power wash, prep including scraping old paint away and priming, caulking, and 2 coats of wood stain on our cedar siding and metal gutters and downspouts. We are very satisfied with the results, attention to details, and especially with the owners, job foreman, and work crews. Highly recommended!

This was my first experience with Columbus Painting, but it likely won't be the last. Their price was the best because (in my opinion) they estimated the job accurately, using one very skilled painter for 2 days. The 3 other painting companies were estimating 2 painters for 2-3 days. Columbus Painting's price included a fresh coat of white on the ceiling and 2 coats of pale green, covering pale lilac. The biggest part of the job was covering dark brown stained wood, including 3 doors, trim, and baseboards around the bedroom with white paint, requiring sanding, priming and 2 top coats. The job was beautifully completed in less than 2 days. The other difference was their outstanding communication from Adam and Matt Russo,, keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Columbus Painting.

Pros: Super friendly staff, painting appears to be fine. Cons: Miscommunication on their end lead to their having to reschedule a few times. Painters left empty an water bottle and food wrapper on premise. Quote said all landscaping would be covered for protection while painting, but nothing was covered, leading to paint on plants. Paint chips from cleaning were left on ground, too. When painting trim, a bit of paint dripped onto siding, and was wiped off, leaving traces of the paint in the grooves of the side. During verbal estimate, I was told reattaching one soffit would be easy; failed to include it on quote at first, but added when I asked; painter failed to do the work; I had to point out the problem during the post-job walk through. Bottom line: They got the job done, but see above. Note that this was a small job painting the trim on a two-story house. One person handled the pressure washing (about 4 hours) and another did the painting (about 8 hours).

Matt did an amazing job to ensure my exterior house painting went smoothly. He answered all my questions. After a consultation with Sherwin Williams (Alyssa), I selected paint colors. Antonio and crew did a wonderful job with power washing, patching holes, scrapping old paint and covering trim. The actual painting was carefully done. The crew did a great job with clean up. I plan to use Columbus Painting in the future.

Columbus Painting did an excellent job on both some exterior and interior painting. Walkthrough of the painting needed was refreshing as areas that did not show wear of fading were not recommended, saving money on the project. As well, the garage door was recommended and it is amazing how much better it looks and being such a prominent part of the front of the house and it really improved the curb appeal.
