My first time having my knives sharpened by anyone. I could get them fairly sharp on my own but never to a “wicked sharp” that I wanted. I then tried Kris of Central Texas Blade Works.
Kris is very friendly, accommodating, fast and very reasonable in price. We are extremely pleased and will be having all our knives sharpened by Kris from now on. I highly recommend you give Kris a try.

Thanks Randy. We will also accept brisket as payment!!!
I had 6 kitchen knives that needed sharpening. One even had a broken tip on it. To my surprise he was able to restore that knife to its original condition tip and all. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs to have anything sharpened from garden implements to scissors. The price was very reasonable. Great job.

Chris was so wonderful to work with. I had never had my gardening or cooking blades professionally sharpened before so gave it a go WOW so well done. Even the lawnmower got a face lift. And not expensive at all. If you have a good quality set of blades you need to use chris!!

Drop off a beat up blade, pick up a sharper than stock one!
I was travelling to Taylor for bussiness and needed someone to take care of my workhorse since I accidentally chip the tip and damage the apex. Kris has done a great job restoring the sharpness of the blade. Great communication and fast service. Would recommend Kris to anyone!

Kris at Central Texas Blade Works is AMAZING! I took a vintage WWII Army knife and one of my wife's kitchen knives to Kris. Kris sharpened them both to a razors edge while we waited. I was a Navy Special Warfare Operator and I have never seen an edge so sharp. My wife is planning on Kris doing all of our kitchen knifes. Fantastic! I am going to have him sharpen all of my blades. If I could, I would give Centeal Texas Blade Works 10 stars. Nowhere but Kris from now on.

Kris came out to my house to sharpen all of my knives. Great communication and right on time, he had 'em all fixed up in about 20 minutes, even fixing a damaged blade in one of them. And in a rarity these days, he's probably undercharging for the service provided. Will definitely use him again.

Thanks for your support. Good luck on that construction! 🚧
Kris is an absolute pro at sharpening my cherished 40-year old German Solingen chef knives, my sewing shears, all of my gardening blades-- including the lawn mower blade - and a varying number of tool blades. He works to meet your schedule and is very accommodating. Best prices I've had in the Austin-Round Rock- San Marcos area since 2013! Thanks @CentralTexasBladeWorks!
