Uma experiência que não esqueceremos tão cedo!
Fui sozinha com as minhas filhas de 10 e 11 anos e foi uma das melhores decisões que tomei. O ambiente é tão descontraído e acolhedor que rapidamente fizemos amigos — encontrámos outras famílias com quem partilhámos momentos incríveis. Esse espírito de comunidade que se cria naturalmente é raro e especial.
O pequeno-almoço é de excelência — não falta mesmo nada. Daqueles que fazem a manhã começar com um sorriso. A piscina exterior aquecida com uma vista encantadora foi o toque de luxo que não esperávamos, e as miúdas não queriam sair de lá.
O Rui é um anfitrião como poucos — sempre disponível, atento e com as melhores dicas da região. Fez toda a diferença numa viagem em família.
A localização é perfeita: a 15 minutos a pé temos um restaurante, muito bom e com variedade para agradar a todas as idades. E nas redondezas há atividades para todos os gostos — visitámos castelos, grutas, fizemos escalada, passámos pelo Centro de Ciência Viva e ainda nos rendemos a uma praia fluvial incrível.
Diversidade, qualidade e hospitalidade genuína. Voltaremos com certeza!
AMAZING
I came alone with my 10 and 11-year-old daughters and honestly it was one of the best decisions I've made this year. Rui is the kind of host that makes all the difference — always available, full of great local tips, and with that genuine warmth that's hard to find. Breakfast is really good, nothing missing, and the heated outdoor pool with that view... the girls just wouldn't get out. What I didn't expect was the atmosphere. We met other families, made friends, and there was this wonderful sense of community that just doesn't happen very often. It was really special. The area has so much to do — castles, caves, climbing, a Science Discovery Centre, a river beach. We never stopped. There's a great restaurant a 15-minute walk away with enough variety to keep the kids happy. We'll be back. No question.

Cozy Countryside stay
A cozy, peaceful, and beautifully rural setting. The surroundings were lovely, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A perfect place to relax and unwind.
Casa Boho is the ideal place for a couple or family vacation. Alvados is a small village in the Serra de Aire e Candeiros from where you can explore a lot of places an activities (Fatima, Nazaré, Óbidos, Tomar, Leiria etc - hiking, mountainbiking, horseback riding, grottos,...). Even in winter there are things to do.
The hotel is charming, the rooms spacious and the hosts really friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Boho. It is nestled in a quiet, most beautiful area, surrounded by a cosy garden. Has a heated pool with an amazing view. There are lots and lots of walking trails around, some of which we could even reach without a car. It was a perfect place for a peaceful stay.
Uno de los hoteles boutique en medio rural más bonitos de los que hemos estado. Emplazado en medio de la naturaleza con ventanales enormes desde todas las estancias y piscina climatizada. Muy recomendable para desconectar y descansar. Muy agradecidos a Rui por su amabilidad y simpatía.

Agradável, mas com vários aspetos a melhorar
☺Da localização, contacto com a natureza, paz e sossego.
☹- Não haver limpeza diária aos quartos não nos faz qualquer sentido.
- A porta da casa de banho não permite privacidade adequada.
- Não havia copos no quarto, nem chávenas para café, chá, nada.
- Pequeno-almoço muito limitado em termos de oferta: só há 1 tipo de iogurte, não há opção sem lactose (nos dias que correm é extremamente importante atenção ao glúten e lactose nos hotéis e similares). Não há um croissant. Num sítio como este não esperaria comer granola do "pacote" comprado no supermercado - esperava comer uma granola caseira. Mesmo em termos de pastelaria, queijo, etc. é muito fraco.
- Fechadura do Quarto 8 está péssima.
- Temperatura da água da piscina deveria estar mais quente - já que é "aquecida"
- Não nos caiu nada bem o excesso de zelo com a hora de saída. Exigir sair às 11:00, mesmo após o nosso pedido por termos uma criança dava-nos jeito mais tarde, mesmo pagando. Não se vê qualquer equipa de limpeza e o hotel estava vazio - não se compreende a falta de simpatia e cordialidade nesta questão. É um pequeno detalhe, mas a qualidade vê-nos nos pequenos detalhes.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly value hearing from our guests, as it helps us improve while staying true to the spirit of Casa Boho.
Our location in nature is meant to offer a peaceful, rural experience, and part of that includes keeping our breakfast simple, fresh, and avoiding the waste that can come with large hotel buffets.
That said, we always try to adapt to our guests’ needs. For example, we’re happy to prepare gluten-free pancakes, and can offer other options if dietary requirements are communicated before arrival.
Regarding the suite bathroom door, we agree with your point and have already ordered a replacement, which will be installed in the coming months. We’ve also taken note about glassware and cups in rooms and will ensure they are provided.
The pool is heated and its temperature naturally varies between 23–29°C depending on sun exposure during the day and the season. We’ll continue to monitor it closely to keep it as comfortable as possible.
As for late check-outs, we try to accommodate them whenever possible. On the day of your departure, the room was booked for new guests, which meant we needed the full time for preparation. We understand this can be inconvenient, and we’re sorry it felt unfriendly. Rest assured this was never our intention.

Wir haben hier eine ganz tolle Woche im September verbracht. Das Hotel ist nicht groß, aber es fehlt einem an nichts. Rui, der Gastgeber, hat uns jeden Morgen mit dem allerbesten Frühstücksbuffet beköstigt und uns auch sonst tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants etc. gegeben. Es war ganz herzlich und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
