My mechanic Jeff really went the extra mile. He not only submitted the report but offered to call me to further explain everything. And he was very patient with my questions. Thanks Jeff!
My only reason for not being five stars is that I was and still am a little unclear if the 48-hour guarantee is to have the whole inspection done and submitted within 48-hours, or if it’s just that the thing will be scheduled within 48-hours.

CarInspect was exactly as advertised!
I booked the inspection, they handled the scheduling logistics with the dealership, and a day or two later I had a comprehensive report, complete with pictures, in my email.
I really appreciated the ability to give custom instructions to the inspector before hand, so I could be sure anything I was worried about would checked.
Finally, the best part of the service is the conversation with the mechanic after the inspection. Brandon was my assigned inspector and he was fantastic. He broke down everything contained in the report, addressed my specific concerns with the vehicle, and answered all my questions. He was professional, polite, and patient.
I would not hesitate recommending CarInspect to friends and family.

David inspected my vehicle for me and saved me a 500 mile trip! I needed a quick turnaround - 24 hours - inspection and found CarInspect online in the area. After arranging a time to review the vehicle, David kept me and the dealership informed of his estimated arrival time as to not waste either of our time.

Highly recommend, it's the second time i use them and the report is very detailed and the process is very smooth and quick. Ahcene was my inspector and we had a conversation after the report was produced and we went over all the pros and cons of the car which helped me make an informed decision.

Highly recommend Carinspect. Bryan made the whole process very comfortable during a remote purchase of a vehicle, contacted the dealership to arrange a meeting and called me after to go over everything along with the detailed report and overview.
My first time using such a service and it was money well spent! The mechanic (Raphaël) scheduled the inspection time directly with the sales person and did a thorough inspection including taking the vehicle for a test drive, connecting a scanner to look for trouble codes, and checking things like the battery voltage. He even went through the carfax report provided by the dealer and noted a possible item of concern. Lots of pictures and a walk around video in the report. Called right after the inspection was complete to go through what he found and to elaborate on what was in the report. The vehicle had a number of issues that the dealer hadn't disclosed including a couple major issues which saved me a lot of money and future headaches had I gone through with the purchase. I would like to have Raphaël do all of my pre-purchase inspections!

Great to work with- I live in Calgary AB, I was in Vegas on a work trip and the Carinspect employee was able to facilitate the inspection. The ONLY thing I don't like is the rating structure- my car is fairly immaculate, with only needing a windshield and back brakes and VERY MINOR surface rust on a few components- they have a A-B-C rating structure. They gave my car a B Rating, my opinion that would be a A rating with 3 items noted(out of 170 points)

Took about a day to be assigned an inspector, but after that everything went great. Kevin was very thorough, quick to communicate with me immediately after his inspection, and was very helpful when I called later him for clarification on a certain detail.

Based on my experience with CarInspect, I would recommend them to anyone. Reasonably priced, personable, thorough, and accurate. Much more responsive than the larger services I’ve used. My technician, Nathan Harris, was knowledgeable and friendly. He provided a complete report in a very timely fashion and answered all my questions over the phone. Should the need arise in the future, they will be on mind.
