I had a great experience working with Pascal at the Freeport location. He was incredibly patient and took the time to help me select the perfect cabinets for both my kitchen and bathroom. Jenny handled the measurements, and her installation team was top-notch—they did quality work and left the space spotless. The only issue was the countertop process. There is a two-week delay after measuring to get the installation. On top of that, unfortunately, the sink was cut incorrectly upon arrival. Being without a sink for a month has been very inconvenient, but the quality of the cabinetry and the professionalism of the install crew were excellent.

I purchased a full kitchen from Cabinets To Go and was very happy with the price, design, quick delivery, and assembly. Because of that positive experience, I later decided to purchase a laundry room, and once again I was satisfied with the same aspects. Unfortunately, during the installation of the crown molding, we discovered a defect in the profile. The two pieces had already been cut, so returning them was not an option. To complete the installation, we had to go to a hardware store and purchase primed stock instead. I later contacted Cabinets To Go to request a refund for the defective molding they supplied. To my surprise, they refused to issue a credit, despite the defect clearly being their responsibility. This experience was very disappointing. After purchasing two full cabinet sets, I couldn’t believe they would rather lose a customer than issue a credit for less than $200. Be aware that this company does not stand behind its products. Based on this experience, I now understand why they receive negative reviews online. The store replied to my review apologizing for my experience but stated they could not do anything about the defective part. I imagine their good reviews did not involve customers having to deal with a defective product. Please be aware that this company will not make things right if you encounter a defect. You are better off shopping at Home Depot or Lowe’s, as they stand behind their products. It’s not worth the headache if you run into an issue with this company. I do not recommend the Freeport, NY store.

My wife and I purchased a new kitchen from Cabinets To Go in late 2021, with installation completed in early 2022. Although some cabinets arrived scratched and damaged, the company promptly replaced those units. One of the primary reasons we chose Cabinets To Go was their advertised transferable lifetime warranty, which we believed would offer us long-term peace of mind. However, just a few weeks ago, we experienced a significant issue when one of the cabinets fell apart—the face plate on the pull-out drawer detached entirely (see attached photos). When I contacted Cabinets To Go, Case #CASE125991 I was informed that this type of defect is not covered under their lifetime warranty and that we would be responsible for the replacement costs. Request to speak with the Supervisor was ignored. Upon further inquiry, I was told that our kitchen model was discontinued two years ago and that no replacement parts are available. The company later quoted us $150 plus tax for a service technician to attempt a repair. In summary, our experience with the lifetime warranty has been extremely disappointing, as the company has refused to honor their commitment and has instead attempted to charge us additional fees despite the warranty’s promises. I would caution others to carefully consider this before making a purchase. Update: Cabinets to go posted a general response the next day, stating they will look into my request. It's been almost two weeks and nobody contacted us since. Which once again proves the company doesn't stand behind it's products and doesn't honor their warranty just a few years after the purchase....
