I agree the company is friendly and knowledgeable. But, since my bees were inside a structure, I was quoted $2669 before the bundle package. Package included-removal of the bees is 1 cost. Then, removal of honey comb next cost, and repairs for the hole they had to cut the 3rd cost. It was going to be way over $1300. I had to "ask" for the tech to actually look with a camera (if they had one, and they did) to see what was all going on inside. Instead of just "explaing" to me what the bees were doing in the structure. The tech said, "Since you asked, I can do that for you" (look with the camera). After looking. He quoted me before the bundle $2696 for everything. But, we didn't get farther on the "deal" he would give me because the price was not affordable. So, I declined service for now. I had someone else come look, same day. They found out, there is no queen. Just about 50 bees doing really nothing. No real honeycomb. And the cost being $256 for removal. I'm very upset at Busy Bee for charging so much for something so simple. I'm sure Busy Bee would have came out, and still charged me an arm and leg. Even if it was a simple removal. And cutting into the structure that wasn't necessary. I can also use lavender or mint to spray around the area monthly to keep them away (affordable). I love bees.
So this was a big deal to make sure it was done humanly. And I dont feel in this case I or the bees were really looked at with good intentions.
