Over the past several years, I’ve spent more than $30,000 with Brush Brothers on multiple interior and exterior paint jobs. Based on that history, I trusted them again during a recent $200,000 remodel. Unfortunately, this latest experience has been extremely disappointing.
Less than seven months later, I’m already dealing with cracking, peeling, and bubbling paint—especially around doors and stair areas. This is completely unacceptable for work that should last years, not months.
Communication has also been a major issue. I’ve reached out multiple times to the owner, Randy, and others as problems have come up—just like I’ve done in the past—but this time there has been little to no response.
During the job itself, the experience was equally frustrating. Laborers argued about basic prep work like sanding, claimed their equipment was broken, and openly blamed their company, foreman, and materials for delays and issues. It showed a clear lack of professionalism and accountability. Despite trying to treat them well (even covering lunch one day), the work still reflected corner-cutting and poor execution.
At this point, the quality and service fall well below what you’d expect—even compared to big-box store contractors.
I cannot recommend Brush Brothers. This has been a costly and frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

We are very glad we had Brush Brothers paint half of our basement, and plan to have them back to do some other areas. The rooms look so much better in new paint! Brush Brothers started and finished the job on schedule, and at a surprisingly affordable price.

Now, a few months later, we have had them back to paint the rest of our basement, a couple of other rooms, and our exterior doors and trim. Again they did a great job.

A couple of years later now, we had them paint our garage. They had lots of masking to do, but completed the job in two days, and cleaned up nicely afterward. It looks great!
Israel and Jesus did an amazing job, our existing baseboard color was hard to match and he went through six colors of paint and final went to Sherman Williams and stayed there until they got it right. They cleaned up and was very careful with our home. I would recommend them to paint your home
Brush Brothers painted the entire exterior of our home and restrained the accent wood beams. We could not be happier with how it turned out! Jose and Alejandro worked very hard every day and did beautiful work!
Julio did a fantastic job! He was very thorough. I would recommend best brother to all my family and friends.
