Cette visite gastronomique était beaucoup plus que ce que nous attendions! Fumi était merveilleux! Nous avons pu profiter de nombreux plats et elle avait d'excellentes informations sur l'endroit où elle a sélectionné pour nous de faire. Fumi a également complètement personnalisé notre visite et nous a même emmenés acheter du shoyu et d'autres articles de garde-manger japonais. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et ce fut une introduction parfaite à Osaka. Nous sommes retournés à plusieurs endroits où elle nous a emmenés et nous a parlé - même le karaoké ! Merci beaucoup Fumi!

Fumi was hands-down the best tour guide we could have ever hoped for — truly unforgettable. From the moment we met her in Osaka, she made everything feel effortless, thoughtful, and incredibly personal. She guided us to the most charming hidden coffee shop, introduced us to Osaka’s famous pancakes (which were phenomenal), and patiently showed us how to order confidently in local restaurants — something that made us feel immediately more comfortable and connected to Japan. The following day in Kyoto was nothing short of magical. Fumi seamlessly taught us how to use every form of transportation — subway, bus, taxi, and train — with such clarity and ease that it removed all stress from traveling. She brought us to the most breathtaking lookout over Kyoto, completely peaceful and uncrowded, a moment we will never forget. From there, she led us to a beautiful temple, taught us about Shogun Hill, and guided us through stunning gardens with such care and knowledge. And then… the ramen. Quite literally the best ramen of our lives — a place we never would have found on our own. What truly sets Fumi apart is not just her expertise, but who she is as a person. She is warm, kind, incredibly thoughtful, organized, and genuinely invested in her guests. Every detail was considered. Every transition was smooth, every place was researched and honestly explained. By the end of our time together, it felt like we were traveling with family. She took world class care of us. If you are considering a guide in Osaka or Kyoto, do not hesitate for one second — Fumi is exceptional. She didn’t just show us Japan, she gave us memories we will cherish forever.

Booking Fumiko as our personal guide was the best decision we made on our trip to Japan. Japan is incredibly busy, and only a small percentage of people communicate in English, so having Fumiko with us made an enormous difference. She thoughtfully organised our itinerary around our family’s needs, particularly taking into account that our son is autistic, which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable for all of us. Fumiko was highly professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She taught us so much about Japanese history, culture, language, and shared fascinating fun facts along the way. She also took us to the restaurant with the best ramen we have ever had — a hidden gem filled with locals and outstanding food. Fumiko made our trip truly meaningful and very special. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

We had a great experience with Fumiko. She contacted us long before the tour to set up a meeting time and place and to learn about our interests. We left the planning of our itinerary up to her as we did not have any set ideas about what to see in Osaka and could not have been happier. We enjoyed all the spots she highlighted and she adapted the schedule as we went based on what my sons wanted to see and eat, particularly in the market. She had a lot of great food recommendations, which really added to our experience in Osaka. We also really enjoyed the temples and castle, and she was knowledgeable about the history and how to best experience these stops on our itinerary.

Amazing experience! What a unique, interesting, and fun experience! Fumiko was very kind, informative, and customized our Osaka Food Tour to our tastes and desires of trying new things. Fantastic tour! We tried a great mix of Osaka favorites at four different spots around Dotonbori. Along the way, we learned about how food tastes differ across generations and got to sample some unique drinks we might not have tried without Fumiko’s encouragement. She tailored the tour perfectly to suit my partner’s food preferences, which made it even more special. Despite the heavy Halloween rain, Fumiko guided us safely and smoothly through the busy streets. It was a fun, delicious, and memorable three hours—thank you, Fumiko!

I had a wonderful time on my personalized tour of Osaka! From visiting Osaka Castle to exploring the many shops and arcades, every part of the day was a great experience. Fumiko knew some of the best spots for food and coffee along the way and was incredibly adaptable whenever I wanted to stop and check something out. We also had great conversations throughout the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent foodtour avec Fumiko. Nous et nos amis avons eu un tour de nourriture incroyable avec Fumiko. Elle connaît tous les bons endroits dans les marchés alimentaires animés d'Osaka. Incroyable variété de nourriture et beaucoup et beaucoup à essayer et à manger. Fumiko est un hôte gentil et gracieux et est assez bien informé. Ce qui crée une bien meilleure compréhension de la culture alimentaire d'Osaka. Nous avons mangé du boeuf kobe, du thon, du poisson-globe, des crêpes et bien plus encore suivi d'un bon dessert. Fortement recommandé pour un petit groupe de famille ou d'amis. Merci Fumiko !

Fumiko was a gracious and wonderful tour guide. We got many steps in! She was able to accommodate a last minute request because we had inadvertently booked the wrong date. We saw many sights and found cute quiet neighborhoods that we could go back and visit. She tailored our tour for what we wanted, which was to see as much as we could. By the end of the tour, we were getting tired but Fumiko kept us on pace to make sure we saw everything. She had great spots for photos that were away from the crowds. She told us the history of places. We stopped and had a snack and drink. It was a lovely welcome to Osaka that we hoped for. Fumiko gave great restaurant recommendations for other cities. She is well traveled. We recommend her to anyone looking for a tailored tour. She will deliver!
