We do not know anything about generators , and Kyle was very pleasant , knowlegable about the whole system and was patient with us regarding explaining all about the system . He was a very nice man and down to earth . He did not try to sell us something that we did not need .

Responsive, quick to answer. Great work. I do feel the pricing was high for replacing a hot water tank that had already been drained. That being said-I was willing to pay the price for the excellent customer service. They "worked" me into a same day spot and arrived at my home within 3 hrs of initial call. The company I used for 20 years didn't respond as quickly to the initial call. In fact, Chris showed up and had the hot water tank installed before the previous company that I used even bothered to call me back. Thank you Beck's for the exceptional service.

POOR INSTALLATION, NO ACCOUNTABILITY – STAY AWAY
A little over a year ago, Beck Electric, Generators, and Plumbing installed a whole‑house generator at our home. Their sales representative came out to inspect the installation site and confirmed that the location was appropriate. Despite reviewing and approving the site, their installation has since failed.
The generator was placed on a corner of the house where the ground slopes downward from left to right when viewing the unit from the front. To compensate for the slope, Beck built up the lower side of the pad with gravel during the initial installation. Over time, vibration from the generator caused that gravel to shift, leaving the pad improperly supported and therefore unlevel. This has led to the generator itself being out of level.
During their recent visit for annual maintenance, we asked them to inspect the foundation pad. Instead of acknowledging that the issue stemmed directly from their installation choices, they told us it was our responsibility and offered to “fix” it only if we paid for the repair. Their refusal to stand behind their own work—work they inspected, approved, quoted, and executed—is extremely disappointing.
Our concern is simple: Beck evaluated the site, confirmed it was suitable, and determined the installation method. We relied on their expertise. A foundation failure just over a year later should be corrected by the company that caused it, not turned into an additional bill for the homeowner.
We expected competent workmanship and responsible customer service from a company entrusted with such a major home investment. Instead, Beck Electric & Generators has shown a clear unwillingness to take accountability for their own poor installation.
HOMEOWNERS SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY — they do NOT stand behind their work, do NOT take responsibility for their own poor installation, and WILL leave you paying for the consequences of their mistakes.

I am not disputing that the generator was relocated. It remains operational; however, it is now out of level due to what I believe is improper installation and inadequate support beneath the pad. My complaint concerns the installation, not the generator's operation. A Beck Electric salesperson visited our property, and we agreed on the location and installation details. We relied on their expertise to ensure proper installation and support. After setting the pad, the installers asked to access the area beneath our deck and transfer buckets of rocks to build up the area around the pad now in question. Those rocks have since moved away from the generator's base. I disagree that rainfall or washout caused this movement. If runoff were responsible, we would expect rocks to wash farther downhill into the grass. There is no evidence of this. Instead, the rocks have moved away from the pad, supporting my concern that generator vibration is causing them to shift. Additionally, Beck Electric's original photographs appear to show inadequate support along the side in question, with a visible gap between the rocks and the pad's underside.
The issue is not whether the generator was relocated or works, but whether Beck Electric properly installed and supported the pad. We relied on their professional expertise, and the current condition suggests this expectation was not met. I ask Beck Electric to address the installation problem rather than blame rainfall without sufficient evidence. The company should ensure the pad is adequately supported and the generator is level. I hope Beck Electric will acknowledge these concerns and provide a fair resolution.

The attached photos show rocks washed away by water runoff, which can occur over time and is beyond our control.
