I had my second cupping session with Dr. Tony Willcox at Acupuncture Zen last Saturday, and I’m back today for acupuncture. That should tell you everything. I’ve tried a lot of recovery methods over the years, and this is one of the few that actually moves the needle (no pun intended).
The cupping loosened up tension I’d been carrying for a while. I walked out feeling lighter, more relaxed, and more balanced than I have in a long time, and that feeling stuck with me all week. Now I’m adding acupuncture, and I already know it’s going to take things to another level.
Dr. Tony makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. He explains what he’s doing and why, and you can tell he cares about getting you real results. The space is calm and welcoming, and the whole experience feels personal.

Dr. Tony is an exceptional acupuncturist! He is genuine, highly knowledgeable and truly delivers a calming, healing experience. One of the things I find really interesting about coming here is what it does to my mind.
There’s so much going on all the time, and I usually have a hard time getting my brain to stop jumping from one thing to another. But during these sessions, at some point, it just stops. Sometimes I can focus on one thought, and sometimes there’s honestly just nothing there. No noise. No racing around in my head.
For an hour, I’m just there. In the moment. And that’s a pretty rare feeling for me.
I’ve been here before, and it’s one of the things I really appreciate about coming back.
