This typically happens when an expedited option is available (often 1–5 days faster), when there are shorter pickup/delivery windows, or when the market, weather, or carrier availability changes unexpectedly. We always communicate this upfront and present it to the customer so they can accept or decline. If declined, we simply continue searching for other available carriers.

In your case it was not the market fluctuation, but the holiday and the expedited service, which cost $100 more. Expedited service is subject to availability and typically commands a premium, as guaranteed or time-sensitive options are limited during these periods. In many cases, an additional $100 during the holidays represents the minimum adjustment for such services.
When securing a carrier, we focus on identifying the best option for each customer’s specific situation and, when applicable, offer alternatives such as guaranteed pickup dates or expedited delivery at an additional cost. Customers always have the option to accept or decline these services, similar to add-on or tiered offerings across many industries.

Almost all of our reviews on Google and other platforms state the opposite of what is described here, consistently highlighting our clear communication, responsiveness, and hands-on support throughout the auto transport process. From the start, we always provide clear, specific, and upfront information, including written instructions outlining how the shipment works and what to expect at each stage.

You were referred to us and were given a $200 discount, even though you had a very small pickup window, which typically costs more due to limited carrier availability. Your vehicle was picked up and delivered within the timeframe you requested. Once a carrier is secured, pickup and delivery windows are narrowed, and the carrier’s full information is provided along with simple, step-by-step instructions. These instructions clearly state that the driver is the primary point of contact for scheduling, while your ABC Auto Shipping agent remains available as a backup at all times. This is standard practice in auto transportation and many other industries, similar to being given the direct contact information of a technician performing the service.

Regarding communication, all of your questions were answered in detail through email, several phone calls, and numerous text messages (screenshots unfortunately cannot be posted here for proof). At no point were you left without information or support, even responded to you after business hours. While we cannot control a driver’s personality, we take professionalism seriously and address any legitimate concerns immediately when they are brought to our attention. Your vehicle was transported and delivered approximately six months ago, and this review was posted about seven months after delivery. At the time of booking, specific pickup and delivery date windows were clearly provided and agreed upon, and the transport was completed within those terms.

As a licensed auto transport broker, our role is to coordinate logistics, secure a vetted carrier, and support communication throughout the process. Brokers do not physically transport vehicles, nor do they control a driver’s personality or behavior. Any alleged “drama” with the driver could have been influenced by multiple factors; however, no formal complaint or issue was escalated to us during or immediately after delivery.

Based on our many interactions during your shipment, there were repeated expectations raised that were outside what was discussed and agreed to, which required the same explanations to be provided multiple times. Despite this, we remained available and fulfilled our contractual obligations.
