Merritt Gantt and his crew were awesome and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and his company, True Air Technologies. Our radon system needed to be serviced and we were concerned a water leak in a bedroom was related to the system somehow. I tried contacting the company who originally installed the radon system, but they were no longer in business. After searching the internet, I found True Air Technologies and gave them a call. Merritt answered and was so professional and knowledgeable about his field. He took the time to listen to me, answer my questions, offer advice and information, and sent me his licensing info without hesitation and with pride. He was able to schedule an appointment very promptly. He came this afternoon and fixed the problrm after a thorough inspection of the system. He installed a new fan as the original had failed. He added additional support straps as there were not enough straps supporting its weight, and he corrected the rubber flange fitting as the previous installer utilized the wrong sizes and tried to make them work - causing a puckering and air leak. Not only was Merritt timely, professional and honest, and fairly priced, he and his team went above the call of the duty When he discovered the leak was not related to the radon system, he and his team sought out to find where the leak was coming from. Mind you, we have had multiple roofers, window installers, HVAC contractors, and a general contractor all trying to find the leak and blaming other trades for the leak. All were unsuccessful! Merritt and his crew finally solved the problem. We kept explaining to contractors that the leak only happened during wind driven rain and storms and leaked in the downstairs ceiling below our bedroom and bathroom, but upstairs we had no evidence of a leak. He took our hose and sprayed our window while another crew member looked under our jacuzzi tub and another watched downstairs for any water leaking. They replicated the problem and solved the mysterious leak! Hallelujah. Thank you so much Merritt Gantt and thank you to your crew! You cannot go wrong hiring this team.

We had True Air Technologies remove mold and encapsulate the crawl space at our home in Greer, and we were very happy with the results. From the beginning, Merritt and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and clearly knew how to handle a difficult crawl space. The difference before and after the work was dramatic. They removed the old insulation, treated the mold, regraded the ground, sealed the crawl space from the outside, installed a sump pump and dehumidifier, added lighting, and encapsulated the walls and floor. They also built a new crawl space door and took care of several smaller details along the way. One thing that really impressed me was how the crawl space performed immediately afterward. The day after the main work was completed, we had several hours of heavy rain. I checked underneath the house and the crawl space was still dry, clean, and noticeably less humid. The finished space is completely different from what we started with. It is bright, clean, and dry, and we are now able to use the space for storage. Even my kids keep asking if they can go down there and play! I appreciated the attention to detail and the quality of the work. Merritt and his team were great to work with, and we are very pleased with how everything turned out.

Meritt and his team performed an exceptional job to complete a radon mitigation system in my basement/crawlspace which included a radon fan, ductwork, and a full encapsulation. Everything was easy throughout the process from the testing and consultation, to booking, payment, and especially the competed project. Meritt goes above and beyond to provide a high quality work product. My personal favorite part was the installation of strip lighting which I got to keep in addition to all of the spider webs and nastiness that his team vacuumed up in the rafters. My radon results went down from a 4.0 to 0.4 pCi/L!

Our recently purchased home had a poorly designed and installed radon mitigation system. Thankfully, after considerable research, our search for a truly knowledgeable radon mitigation solution provider led us to Merritt Gantt and his team at True Air Technologies. From our initial discussion, it was clear that Merritt was in a league of his own among radon mitigation system service providers. He demonstrated deep professional knowledge of the principles of radon gas behavior and ANSI (and related industry) guidelines, as well as exceptional mitigation system design expertise. His quoting process was highly professional and informative with very fair pricing. As the project moved forward, he and his team were always prompt, extremely courteous and exceedingly hard-working. As challenges arose (as in any construction project), he and his team went well above and beyond to resolve them. Communication was proactive and outstanding throughout. Merritt made every effort to ensure the quality of their work product was excellent in terms of appearance and function. Due to the unique layout of our home, there were three separate spaces requiring mitigation. Merritt and team not only brought radon levels down significantly (from averages ranging up to 4.9 pCi/L down to below 1.0 pCi/L throughout), they considerably transformed the look and usability of all three spaces. Concerned about Radon levels, we purchased two Airthings Corinthium 2 Radon Detectors in January 2026 and monitored for 3 months. We were surprised to find the levels in our basement hovered in the 7.0-11.5 range (4.0 is considered "Poor" by the EPA) and the upstairs monitor registered as "Fair" (2.7-3.9). Within 48 hours of our install, levels took a nose-dive and have remained low, low, low ever since (below 1.0 in the basement and barely registering upstairs)! We called Merritt at True Air Technologies to schedule appointment. The evaluation of our home was very thorough and quite involved. A day later, we received the meticulously detailed and easy to understand "game plan". Upon review, we decided to move forward with mitigation and Merritt, along with his excellent team were able to install the entire system in one day. A definite "yes" to Integrity, Responsivenesd, CBD Quality! One year ago, Merritt and his crew upgraded my passive mitigation system to an activee system with a fan and associated instrumentation. We could hear the fan inside, but it was tolerable... Until three weeks ago when the vibration started getting really bad. I called Merritt today, and he took my call while under a crawl space on another job, then he offered to come by the house on his way home today - outstanding responsiveness! Once Merritt arrived, he outsourced the system, deemed there was a problem with the existing fan, and immediately replaced it with an upgraded fan as a warranty replacement - no charge! Further, he reinforced and altered the fan suspension kit with another upgrade which is designed to be much less prone to transferring vibration. The result is near silence in the house now. I cannot stress how satisfied and impressed I am with Merritt and his work.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend True Air Technologies! It's been almost 6 months since True Air Technologies installed a radon mitigation system at our home here in Pendleton, and I have nothing but good things to say about Merritt and his business. Merritt was a true pro and clearly knew his stuff—he talked like an expert from day one. I really appreciated that he took the time to thoroughly inspect my home to find exactly where the radon was getting in. He even provided a highly detailed foundation drawing and diagnostic layout, and he patiently answered every single one of my questions. Our radon concentration levels were shockingly high before the system went in, with sub-slab readings hitting 845.7 pCi/L and 711.7 pCi/L in some foundation zones, resulting in indoor air levels up to 13.6 pCi/L. The results since his work have been incredible. My own personal sensor shows that the long-term average has plummeted, now holding steady at a safe average of 0.9 pCi/L. If you need radon mitigation, Merritt is the person to call!

From a Radon high-risk reading (pCi/Li) of 5.4 this past February 2026 -- to a reading as low as 0.9 currently, Tru Air Techologies has mitigated Radon inside our house. The numbers don't lie. Professional and personable, Merritt is an articulate communicator. He's a hard worker, and he bent over backward to ensure that I understood what (and why) he did what he did. We got the AeroBarrier product and were very satisfied with the air sealing results, although cleanup was difficult and time consuming especially on concrete slab basement floors. We got down to .22 ACH50 which we really love. However, I highly suggest customers cover their entire slab floor (and potentially all floors) with thin/cheap/disposable plastic drop cloths to avoid the floor cleanup. A stiff bristle broom was the best for getting the product broken up from floors. The broken up product should be removed same day to avoid re-adherence. We really enjoyed working with Merritt, who was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We love the air sealing we got from this product and would use it again on any new construction house.

We recently worked with Merritt and his team at TrueAir Technologies for radon mitigation, and the results and overall experience were exceptional. After installation, our radon levels dropped from approximately 14 pCi to around 1 pCi, with readings as low as 0.32 pCi and only minor fluctuations up to about 1.4 pCi. These are well below recommended thresholds and give us strong confidence in the effectiveness of the system. What set Merritt apart was his methodical, science based approach. Rather than proposing a generic solution, he and his team performed a detailed assessment of our home. They placed meters, evaluated different areas, and took time to understand how the structure and airflow contributed to radon accumulation. This allowed them to identify the true source and design a mitigation system tailored specifically to our home. In contrast to other quotes we received, one offering a system without even seeing the property, and another focused primarily on drilling multiple holes and adjusting placement reactively, Merritt’s approach was thoughtful, precise, and clearly grounded in expertise. The installation itself was clean and well executed. The system was designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, staying out of the way of the room’s function and any future renovations. The fan operates at a comfortable level and is not disruptive. He also recommended a radon monitor so we can continuously track performance, which has been very helpful. From a process standpoint, everything was smooth. The quote was prompt and reasonably priced, scheduling was easy, and the payment process was straightforward. Merritt coordinated with an electrician to ensure all components were installed correctly. The team was professional, communicative, and respectful of our home, and they left all work areas clean upon completion. Merritt remained highly responsive throughout the entire process, from initial consultation through follow up. He even provided a complimentary radon test kit and proactively checked in after we began monitoring levels to review results and ensure everything was performing as expected. Overall, this was a highly professional, detail oriented experience with excellent results. Results of a charcoal test showed elevated levels of Radon in our house. Contacted True Air Technologies and scheduled mitigation. Found during the construction of our house the Radon vent stack was buried in clay below the gravel under the slab. After clearing the stack and installing a vent fan, the level of Radon in the house is slightly higher than what is in the outside air. This company is very knowledgeable and professional.
