Replacement of broken solar panel
I organised for Zion Energy to replace a broken solar panel on my mother's roof in Guildford. Ezra was very helpful from the beginning, helping me work through the options by email and on the phone. From my accepting the quote the work was speedily booked in and efficiently completed. Ezra and his team were friendly and left everything tidy on leaving. The communication and paperwork side of things were excellent from start to finish. I have no hesitation recommending this company.

All aspects for the installation of Solar panels from initial contact, survey, quotation and installation was carried out in a timely and professional manner. Ezra was a pleasure to deal with and happily answered all my questions and provided comprehensive answers as required. His colleagues were equally friendly and worked effectively as a team. The commissioning of the system was also completed without delay. Ezra went the extra mile to provide comprehensive aftercare and was also helpful in setting up the apps on our phones. I am very confident that if we have any further questions Ezra will promptly address them. I also received a memory stick with a complete set of all the relevant certificates and documents which I consider to be an excellent handover.

I was having a garage roof replaced. Although I contacted many companies to see who was willing to remove the solar panels and re-install after the roof had been done I was getting nowhere. Most wanted me to send photographs, none seemed to be willing to visit the site. A few quoted really large estimates, I suspect that they did not want the work. Thankfully I eventually spoke to Ezra at Zion Energy. Hwe was willing to come to the property to inspect the site. Soon afterwards he contacted me to explain exactly what was required and provided me with an extremely competetive quote. Even when I changed my mind about the type of roofing I decided to use, Ezra was willing to go the extra mile and liaised with my roofers to jointly agree the plan of action with regard to the most suitable fittings to suit the solar panels after my change of roof. The panels were remove carefully. Soon after the roofers had replaced the entire roof, which was delayed by wether confitions, Zion Energy returned to re-fit the solar panels. Ezra explained that he would thoroughly clean the panels and test each one. The panels were then fitted to my complete satisfaction. I would have no hestiation on thoroughly recommending Zion Energy.

Installation of Solar Panels and Battery. Having obtained one estimate for solar panels we approached Zion Energy for a comparative quote and were delighted to find that Ezra could provide a higher specification for the same outlay. Ezra was highly professional throughout in providing a worked example of the savings we could expect to make based on our current consumption and then personally supervising the installation from start to finish. Our MCS Certificate arrived without a hitch and we find that our electricity supplier Octopus is able to give us a favourable import/export tariff owing to the installation of our GivEnergy battery which Ezra had suggested. I contacted Zion Energy when we needed a bespoke Solar PV system design for the house we are building. Ezra sat down with us and discussed the various considerations we needed to make for the system. He asked about our requirements, priorities and preferences for the system, showing us the various options and talking through the benefits and drawbacks of each. We needed emergency backup power to ensure that vital medical equipment would still run in the event of a power cut and he calculated the demand and battery capacity we needed to supply this. We ended up with a 27-panel system with Enphase micro-inverters because we liked the extra safety they provided. Ezra made the process from start to finish easy and straight forward and we were left with a system that we knew was the best for us.
