I have lived in this house for 30 years, endured a number of renovations, and a number of different painters. Felipe and Lucia are the best painters we have had.
When they showed up to paint 4 interior rooms filled with heavy antique furniture, photographs, and art, as well as a small bathroom ceiling that had peeling paint as the result of a leak, a utility room floor, and exterior wooden stairs that needed to be restained, I asked where the other members of the crew were. The original estimate for the job was 6 days. Instead, these two alone finished the job -- without cutting any corners in 4. They arrived shortly after 8 am and worked until at least 6 pm. It is true that we did not change the original paint color so only one coat of paint was needed, but a great deal of prep work was involved because of several old leaks that had required a new roof, and multiple deep cracks that had required foundation repair.
My husband and I were impressed not only by their dedication and their level of professionalism, but also by Felipe's eye for color (he made some suggestions for changing the shade of paint) and design (he suggested hanging one picture slightly differently). Both were also careful with our possessions and in cleaning up afterwards, even going so far as to vacuum AND wash the floors.
We are happy to recommend Zarazua and especially Felipe and Lucia, and will definitely have Zarazua back when we need the rest of the house painted.

A new review: Here we are in 2026 and Zarazua just finished painting the exterior of our house. This time we didn't waste any time getting bids from other paint companies. It is the 4th time we've used Zarazua. A big shot out to: Erick, the general manager who feels like family, Osiris, the project supervisor, a new friend, and Adel and Fito the painters, who worked long hours and incredibly hard despite the bone crushing heat of this week. The house and the outside screened in porch look great - clean and refreshed, and we couldn't be happier. Once again, we recommend Zarazua whole heartedly. It has been a pleasure to do business with them.

Had a great meeting with one of the lads. Said they'd have an estimate to me by the end of the day, and that was 5 days ago.
I was interested in house painting and roofing. I didn't want my entire house painted and I guess they thought my job was too small......but I have no clue....I sent 2 follow up emails but no reply.....not sure why they just decided I wasn't worth their time, but oh well.

Zarazua completely transformed our home. They put in a beautiful walk in shower in our master suite, installed a new vanity and tile throughout. Alexander brings creativity and passion as a project manager. He helped us envision what we could do with our project and his implementation team - lead by Cesar - made it a reality with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. They transformed our popcorn ceilings into smooth white, painted all inside walls, replaced base boards, removed all carpet and installed new engineered flooring through the entire house, and transformed the stairs. In the kitchen, they changed out counter tops to a beautiful quartz, put in a stainless steel sink, added backsplash, and a hood above the range. They overcame many challenges with inventive solutions and are very flexible to work with as new ideas or items to tackle arise. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at a home renovation project - big or small.
