As an adult student, it’s hard to find someone with patience and kindness to start from ground zero with, but Zane was a patient and grounded teacher from day one and made a difference. 10/10 instructor and human, highly recommended.

Zane has been such a great saxophone teacher and mentor to my teen. He makes lessons fun and is interested in helping my son choose music that keeps him engaged and excited to progress. Zane has been flexible with me needing to change lesson times on occasion and is a great communicator. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zane to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable and professional saxophone teacher.

Zane is among the most in demand saxophone players in the Salt Lake area, for performing as well as session recording, and it's for good reason. He is proficient in a variety of styles such as jazz, pop, and blues, and is a great reader as well as a great improviser. He always gives his best effort no matter what project he's working on, and is also wonderful to be around. I'm excited that he's going to be doing more teaching, so he will be able to pass along these great attributes his students.
