NYC to Toronto - Incredible last-minute service!
I cannot recommend Arlene and the team at Your Dog Butler highly enough! We needed to ship our 10-month-old Labrador Retriever from NYC to Toronto last minute. After contacting several services, Your Dog Butler was the only one to respond.
Even though it was late Friday heading into Labor Day weekend, Arlene worked over the weekend to coordinate everything so our dog could make his journey on Wednesday of the following week. It was a complex trip with a lot of moving parts - our dog couldn't meet up with my son in Toronto until Friday morning. Arlene "joined all the dots" for us, organizing overnight stays in Buffalo and Toronto to align the timing perfectly.

Your Dog Butler was an incredible service!! I had to ship my cats across province and into a boarding facility and Your Dog Butler communicated so well with me and even helped me make more informed decisions becuase I had no idea about the whole animal flying process. They sent me photos of my cats when they arrived and called to tell me how they were doing AND sent me more photos when they arrived at the facility. Just made the experience so much less stressful!! It was best experience with Your Dog Butler. Would recommend them over and over again!!! :)

Extremely Unprofessional, Negligent, and Unreliable – Avoid at All Costs!
I strongly advise anyone against using "Your Dog Butler". We had a confirmed booking for ground transportation to a critical veterinary appointment on September 9, 2026. At the very last minute, they unilaterally canceled our appointment without my authorization or consent.
Their sudden and unjustifiable failure to perform contracted services forced me to walk to the veterinary clinic on foot with my two dogs, placing an unacceptable physical and mental burden on both myself and my animals. For a service that advertises itself as a premium pet concierge, this level of negligence, lack of empathy, and disrespect for clients is appalling.
Canceling a confirmed transport for a time-sensitive medical visit without consent borders on deceptive business practices. A company operating with such complete disregard for animal welfare and customer commitment should not be in business.
I will be reporting this incident to Consumer Protection Ontario and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Save yourself the stress and danger—do not trust this company with your pets

I acknowledge your response regarding the traffic delays resulting from an unforeseen road incident. However, I must firmly address key aspects concerning professional service standards and communication.
Regardless of how serious or unexpected an event may be, it is the fundamental obligation of a service provider to contact the client immediately. No unforeseen circumstance grants a provider the authority to unilaterally alter, manage, or intervene in a client's personal and medical commitments without prior consent.
Had this disruption been communicated promptly and professionally, I, as the client, would have had the autonomy to make alternative arrangements suited to my schedule—as I ultimately had to do. A direct notice would have demonstrated the professional integrity of your establishment, even amidst unavoidable circumstances.
I appreciate the prompt processing of the refund immediately upon my request. However, I trust this experience will encourage a revision of your emergency management and client communication protocols moving forward.

Unfortunately, our driver encountered an unforeseen traffic backup on the DVP due to a serious accident along the route to your home. Recognizing right away that this delay would prevent us from reaching your home for the scheduled 2:10 p.m. pickup, our team immediately stepped in to advocate on your behalf. We reached out directly to the veterinary clinic in the hopes of securing a slightly later arrival time so your appointment could still take place. When the clinic informed us that they could not accommodate a delay and required rescheduling for the following day, we called you right away to keep you fully informed.
We completely understand how frustrating and stressful it is when plans change unexpectedly, especially when managing veterinary care for your pets before International travel. While we regret that the initial scheduling attempt caused added frustration, our actions were driven purely by a desire to problem-solve and advocate for you in a moment outside of everyone's control.
Because we care deeply about your comfort and safety—and knowing it was raining while you were managing two dogs—we still dispatched our driver to your home and the vet clinic to offer you a complimentary ride home. Our goal was simply to ensure you and your dogs were safe, warm, and supported, regardless of the circumstances.

Highly recommend Your Dog Butler! We had a last-minute emergency and needed a rescue dog transported from his foster home to a boarding facility. They accommodated my frantic call with only about two hours’ notice.
The transport was safe and professional, communication was excellent, and I received updates throughout the entire process. It gave me tremendous peace of mind during a very stressful situation.

I had a great experience working with Your Dog Butler to bring my rescue cat, Freddie, from the United States to Canada.
