They are doing a bathroom remodel for my elderly friend. They are moving along on schedule. Things at each stage look great. Joe keeps her house cleaned up throughout the project and cleans up each evening before going home. He even brought her breakfast, which really made her day. He was very nice and keeps her apprised on everything he is doing throughout the project. Very professional. They keep your property cleaned up during the renovation which was a nice surprise. She told me each person she had an interaction with was great. She is very happy and excited about her new bathroom.

I do not recommend American Home. As a new homeowner I used American Home for two projects that I deeply regret years later.
They were professional during our first meeting and that facade faded very quickly. I didn't understand my position, and since they had collected 50% payment up front, I felt complelled to continue to work with them despite obvious red flags.
Workers are contracted through the company, and almost none of them have any other affiliation to them. They all arrived late, confused about the contract, and none of them communicated my concerns to American Homes. They used intimidation tactics where they pointed words out in the contract, but they gave the words whatever meaning they wanted. Despite calling American Home, I never got to speak with a representative or the person who was present for the signing of the contract. They always had an excuse which sounded reasonable at the time, but never made sense. They claimed deaths in the family and medical emergencies. But no one ever responded to me.
Both projects required additional work from me in order to complete them, and American Homes ignored my issues. A person was available to answer the phone, and they would always tell me that a specialist would get back with me. I never spoke to one, ever. No matter how many times I called.
I requested for them to cease contact with me after I resolved the issues on my own. Since that time--years later--they still call to ask if I have any projects to work on. They change their number over and over, and you can't block it.
And, yes, they contacted me today which motivated me to get on with this review.
Hope I win it would be a blessing bought a home and found out it was a lemon house even had a home inspection so I know u guys do great work thank u for everything u do

Run from American Home
I used American Home to install my windows and a 3 week project turned into 4 months. Trust me it wasn’t cheap. They came with a lifetime warranty and now I have 2 windows that the gas has leaked out and frosted over. They came and looked at them and told me I would have to pay for the replacement window because the company my windows came from had gone out of business and had to get them from another company. That isn’t my problem that is American Homes problem. You should stand behind your product and service. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

Very rude and scam you out of money
The staff was extremely rude. They did not even start the work I had to ask for a refund which they only gave me half of the money back

Edit: It has been over a year now working with this company to no avail. The siding started literally falling off a week after the first review in March 2025. If you can get someone to speak with you, it takes the months to send someone to repair their mistakes. And it looks worse now than the 30 year old siding they replaced last year. I am so beside myself with trying to work with them to make it right and it is as if they just plain do not care. They got their money and do not want to deal with their hired contractor's mistakes. Please be very cautious in choosing this company for your renovations. I work to hard for my money to have it taken like this for such a big investment on my home and it look the way they have left it, not counting the nail they put in my brand new window causing it not to open. It has been a nightmare working with this company!
