She took the time to understand our vision and made sure every aspect of the day reflected who we are as a couple. We loved EVERYTHING about working with her. Her bubbly personality, her attention to detail, and the enthusiasm she has for her clients is truly impressive. We never felt like “just another couple” while working with her. Meg really and truly made our wedding what it was—absolutely incredible. With respect to planning, even with the “partial” package we felt supported and guided. Every question was answered, she either worked directly with vendors or pointed us to excellent options with whom to coordinate on our own. She considered bar placement, guest experience, flow of events, and the TIMELINE??? I mean it was perfect. “Day of” she was a godsend. I have a chronic illness that flares badly with stress and anxiety, and she worked with me to figure out how I can best time my day. With her support (and some luck and medication) I was up and moving and was able to enjoy the whole day. The difference with Meg is in her details. She saved us samples of the cocktail hour snacks and made sure we had time to enjoy them after pictures. She budgeted recovery time for me after the ceremony and posed pictures. She brought us our signature drinks almost immediately. She helped ensure all of my family’s decorations were set up and then broken down and sent home on time. Good wedding advice is to hire a planner. The best wedding advice is to hire Meg.

There are not enough words to explain how Meg made JL and Jaime’s wedding dreams come true. From the day that the bride started sharing with me about how awesome Meg was, and the connections that she had in the Pittsburgh area for wedding venues, vendors, I was blown out of my mind. Meeting Meg the day before the wedding and seeing how she had everything under control was no surprise however, the surprises came when Meg was able to anticipate potential delays or issues, because let’s face it keeping to a time schedule on a wedding day is very difficult. Meg was able to make sure Jamie and JL had the relaxing day that they needed before the wedding ceremony and she knew who to work with on each of the sides to make sure that the relaxing day happened. My sister - who has experience in the wedding industry - suggested hiring Meg as a planner because she appreciated her organization and communication in the professional world. I had Amy as my wedding coordinator for my 9/21/2024 wedding. I met Amy 4 years ago when she was the day of coordinator for a wedding that I was a part of. I knew immediately that I needed to keep her contact info for when it would be my turn to be a bride! Fast forward, and Amy was nothing short of AMAZING. We had a two year engagement and Amy reached out time to time to ask if we needed help or recommendations. Once we were in the final months, Amy took care of my entire timeline and communication with vendors. This alone was LIFESAVING. Amy coordinated the plans with all vendors so that everyone was on the same page. This took SO much off of my plate. Amy guided our entire rehearsal dinner and helped with anything and everything during our wedding day. She knows what to expect, what not to expect and how to handle any family members/guests. She is extremely professional while being the voice of reason for her couple. Our day was smooth and I never felt frazzled or rushed all thanks to Amy. My entire family has raved about her for the last week. My husband and I both agreed she was the best decision we made for our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend Amy and Yinz Getting Married. Meg was on top of EVERY DETAIL the day of my daughters wedding including special issues such as my own elderly fathers concerns about parking and walking with a walker etc in crowds, at the church and at the reception. Also last minute issues of the wrong color napkins all set and ready to go when we got to the reception - she somehow managed to change all 210 out to a beautiful cream color after she made the caterer quickly drive back and switch them out before the guests even knew!! Excellent job!!

After working with Meg, I can confidently say she saved our wedding and working with her was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Just six weeks before our big day, my husband and I reached out to Yinz Getting Married when we realized we were very behind—having only booked the venue and photographer. From the moment we connected with Meg, we knew she was the perfect choice. Meg’s kind and reassuring approach made all the difference. Meg guided us through every step, helping us prioritize and clarify what we wanted. During our first meeting, I think we only specified, “we want a big party with an open bar where everyone has fun.” During the planning process, Meg was incredibly resourceful in connecting us with vendors through her connections in the industry. Within days of meeting her, she connected us with our florist, our live band, connected with our venue, and was in touch with our photographer. On the actual day, she even went as far as to drive us around the city of Pittsburgh for our pictures and to our actual wedding. I heard from friends and family all night that I was the most relaxed bride they’d ever seen and that it was wonderful to see a couple truly enjoying their wedding. This was entirely possible because of Meg and her incredible team, along with all the fantastic vendors she recommended. It’s easy to be relaxed and have fun with Meg in your corner! We can’t recommend Yinz Getting Married enough. We are not sure how she did it, but Meg planned the perfect wedding for us in 6 weeks and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out!

Absolutely top-notch wedding coordination! My fiancé & I got married this past weekend and Meg was an absolute superstar of a coordinator. We hired her for her month-of coordination and she knocked it out of the park the entire time, even taking calls while on her vacation just to ensure I felt confident about the plan for the wedding. On the actual wedding day, she was sharp, detail-oriented, and firm with all of the vendors. She made sure nearly everything happened exactly the way we’d planned, and even adapted our timeline in the moment to allow things to run smoothly. Her experience with weddings/events was so evident in the way she approached everything, even with a new kind of venue (we got married on a riverboat)! Not only was she great at coordinating, she is so warm and friendly! Cracking jokes and lightening the mood, making my fiancé and I feel so comfortable. And not only is Meg wonderful, so is Amy, another member of her staff. All night, Amy checked in with me, made sure I had everything I needed. She offered to bring me drinks and snacks from cocktail hour while we took photos, constantly thinking one step ahead. My needs (or wants really) seemed to be top priority for Amy and I couldn’t have been more grateful in the moment. I can’t recommend Yinz Getting Married enough for month-of wedding coordination.
