When we first started back in January, we were completely clueless first-time buyers. David was also very understanding of timing of when to contact us. David would be happy to call, email and text and also allow us to do our face to face call on a Sunday at a time that best suited us.

I cannot recommend Mark Swaby highly enough. Having recently completed both my residential and a buy-to-let mortgage through him, I can honestly say the service was exceptional from start to finish. I've never received such a swift response to an enquiry, and from our very first conversation, Mark made the entire process straightforward and stress-free.
All he needed from me were a few key documents, and from there he took complete ownership of everything. He handled the process efficiently, kept me informed throughout, and secured excellent rates on both mortgages. What I appreciated most was how little stress and administration I had to deal with myself.
He also took the time to explain every stage clearly and thoroughly, translating everything into simple, easy-to-understand language. I always felt informed, supported and confident in the decisions being made.
I would 100% use him again and recommend him to others.

Highly recommend this company. I needed a mortgage very quickly and Henry was incredibly quick at getting one sorted for me. Excellent service. Alex at Yellow bricks was so helpful and friendly. He really listened to me and made me comfortable from the get go. I have a complex mortgage case but he made everything so easy. Great advice and always gets back to you quickly. I couldn’t recommend him and yellow bricks higher.
We had an awful experience with the mortgage advisor assigned to us. He made a catalog of errors, was very pushy with income protection insurance despite not advising all the options available or explaining the cover correctly. Due to the errors I asked that another advisor review the case to ensure it was all correct. He chose one of his colleagues to review, which given the tone of our conversation, was clearly someone he was close to, so not an impartial review!
The final straw was when he advised one product was significantly cheaper over the 5 years, than another. I then read through the documents and realised there was a closing fee for the cheaper product, making it on par with the more expensive one! As an advisor he should know this.
We sorted our mortgage out ourselves in the end.

My concerns weren’t that the product wasn’t the cheapest one available, it was. The issue is that the adviser stated the overall difference was £400, when it was in fact £175, as he failed to include the closing payment in his calculations. The fact I would’ve chosen a mortgage based on that calculation, which was incorrect, is not good enough.
