I recently visited Yaletown Wellness for a facial that was scheduled to be one hour. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t go as expected.
Shortly after some products were applied, my skin had a strong reaction. I informed the esthetician right away and asked to stop the facial. She removed the products and suggested using a cooling machine to help calm my skin, which I appreciated and found helpful.
Since the facial could not be completed, I was surprised by the final charge of $115. While a partial discount was offered after discussion, I felt a bit uncomfortable being asked what I thought the service was worth. I believe it would be more appropriate for the business to have a clear and fair policy in situations like this.
I also think a more thorough skin assessment beforehand could help prevent reactions like this in the future.
Overall, the staff were polite, and I appreciated the effort to calm my skin, but I hope there can be clearer communication and pricing practices for situations where services cannot be completed.
I’ve been noticing early signs of aging and finally decided to try XERF. While it’s an investment, it felt more worthwhile compared to other options like Ultherapy or Thermage.

My girlfriend referred me to Yaletown Wellness for XERF lifting. I was originally planning to do 900 shots, but during the consultation, the practitioner recommended 600 shots instead—and it was more than enough to treat my full face and address my concerns.
I really appreciated that they weren’t pushy at all and focused on what I actually needed rather than upselling. The practitioner was very thorough, constantly checking in and adjusting the energy depending on the area.

I ended up purchasing a package of 3 sessions since it was the best value, and I’m planning to make XERF part of my yearly routine.After the first session, I noticed some improvement, but after the second, the results were much more noticeable. Friends started commenting that I looked younger, even though they couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it is — and Xerf was the only thing I had done differently.

Tried XERF at Yaletown Wellness and honestly loved it! Mika was super friendly and made the whole appointment feel easy and relaxed. Her communication was very thorough and reassuring.

I’ve previously tried Ultherapy and Thermage but didn’t see much results. I was referred to yaletown wellness to try XERF, one of the newest non-invasive face lifting and tightening treatments. so I was really interested in XERF since it combines both functions in one.
With my wedding coming up, I was debating going to Korea for treatments, but after researching, I found that Yaletown Wellness is currently the only place in Vancouver offering XERF—and at even better pricing than Korea.

I’ve always had larger pores and some acne breakouts from my younger years, so I wanted to improve my skin overall. My wife highly recommended Melanie, which brought me to Yaletown Wellness to try RF microneedling (Genius).

I did a TMJ RMT session with Rosalyn, and immediately I felt relief in my jaw. I didn't realize how effective RMT would be for TMJ until I experienced it! Highly recommend to those who have been looking for alternative therapies beyond just botox etc.

I recently had an XERF treatment session with Melanie at Yaletown Wellness (Mainland), and the experience was amazing.
Melanie was very professional and meticulous. She gradually increased the heat level to find the optimal setting for my skin, and she was extremely gentle throughout the entire process. She also checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable.
After completing the right side of my face, I could immediately see a noticeable difference compared to the left side. The treatment helped stimulate collagen, which tightened and lifted my skin right away. Melanie also pointed out that my facial symmetry was slightly uneven, and she carefully adjusted the number of shots on each side to create a more balanced result.
Overall, the treatment was fantastic, and I’m very satisfied with the results. I was able to resume normal activities, including showering, right after the session, with no bruising at all. I will definitely be coming back for regular treatments.
I’m so happy to have access to this kind of high-quality treatment in Vancouver without needing to travel to South Korea. Highly recommend!
