Completely transparent about pricing, glass manufacturer (Fuyao, part # DW02983), and what a 2024 Tesla Model 3 calibration actually requires — both Static AND Dynamic. He even encouraged me to consult AI independently to verify his claims. That level of confidence in your own product says everything. No pressure, no upselling, just straight answers.
Pricing & Value
At $998 + tax, Xpro came in over $200 less than Safelite and nearly $850 less than my local auto body shop. No corners cut — Fuyao glass is the same manufacturer Tesla uses in their own vehicles, confirmed by part number DW02983.
Transparency
Without me even asking, Rick proactively listed every feature my 2024 Model 3 windshield required — Solar Glass, Acoustic Glass, Heated Windshield, Wiper Park, Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert recalibration. That’s not a shop guessing their way through a Tesla job. That’s a shop that genuinely knows these cars.
Installation — Lito
Lito drove from the Pleasanton location to my home in San Jose — free mobile service as promised. Professional, well communicated, and had the new windshield installed in just over an hour. The Fuyao glass is pristine and honestly easier to clean than my original OEM glass which always felt greasy. FSD and all safety features worked perfectly after Lito reinstalled the camera and rearview mirror assembly.
Workmanship & Accountability
Here’s where Xpro really earned their five stars. After the install I noticed some unexpected road noise. I called Lito and he came straight back without hesitation. He immediately identified the source — a fitting issue under the frunk/dashboard mounting assembly — and resolved it on the spot without needing to remove or replace the glass. That kind of accountability after the job is done is rare and speaks volumes about the pride this team takes in their work.
Timing
Just over an hour for a full 2024 Tesla Model 3 windshield replacement with dual Static and Dynamic ADAS calibration. Efficient without feeling rushed.
Overall
I did my homework before choosing Xpro — three competing quotes, review research across multiple platforms, and glass manufacturer verification. Xpro won on every single category.
