We have completely fallen in love with The Gathering Barn ❤️ It was so easy to find thanks to the clear check in instructions, and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful both the property and its surroundings are. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch, especially with the lovely local produce. Everything has been finished to such a high standard....we genuinely didn’t want to leave! The space itself is incredible, so roomy and perfect for families or big groups. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could possibly need, and the beds were super comfortable. We absolutely loved The White Company toiletries, such a Luxury treat! The hot tub was used Morning and night, so nice to be able to relax. Our boys were over the moon with the selection of toys in the cupboard, such a sweet detail that kept them happily entertained! The local area is stunning and perfect for exploring, and the owners were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us plan our stay and made sure there was plenty to keep the boys busy. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely love to return!

We spent a weekend at the barns for 23 of us, we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space for us all to be able to eat , which is very unusual, but also space for us to find some quiet when we needed to. Very well equipped and lovely position - lots of things nearby to keep everyone occupied. We will definitely be going back again.

We had everything we could possibly need during our stay which made it easy to relax. And the beds were so comfy too. The landscape around is so scenic and peaceful, and there’s lots of places to explore nearby. Overall it was a really great experience, would highly recommend, looking forward to being back already

Secondly, I had a lovely weekend with my semi-related family and the quiet rural location was the perfect backdrop, and a peaceful contradiction, to the modern feel of the Barns. Outstanding! The Gathering Barn in Broad Oak Hereford did not disappoint! From the excellent communication from Jade prior to our stay, the perfect box of goodies on our arrival, the cleanliness, high standard of appliances, the 40 degree hot tub, and the idyllic setting with views across to the mountains, all of which made our stay one of relaxation, reflection and great fun for 10 friends who have been going away together for over 30 years! We had an amazing stay at the house. We went there for Xmas and we were all so pleased with the house that was beautifully presented and decorated. There were 10 of us and we all had beautifully comfortable rooms. The house is in an amazing location and it was decorated with a Xmas tree when we arrived. We cooked an amazing Christmas dinner in the kitchen that was complete with two brand new NEFF ovens and plenty of fridge/freezer space for all the food that we took to feed us for four days. We would definitely hire the property again as we were made to feel so welcome. It was a home away from home.

We had a fantastic stay at The Gathering Barn. It’s really beautifully designed and set in a stunning location. There are lots of lovely walks nearby and great pubs within easy reach. The social space is excellent, perfect for spending time together. The bedrooms are a great size and very comfortable. It’s an ideal place for a friends’ gathering or a family stay. Communication from start to finish was really great too. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Hay Barn! The kitchen and living room area is stunning, and we had everything we needed for a nice break. We went for a hike nearby and explored Symonds Yat, and coming back for a dip in the Jacuzzi was blissful. Great communication from the hosts, and such a lovely touch with the welcome basket full of local goodies.

We had such a lovely Christmas week here with our family group of 17, staying across Swallows Barn and The Hay Barn. The barns are modern, beautifully clean and really thoughtfully laid out, with great-sized rooms and plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together. One of the real highlights was the large dining table that had been set up for us — it made our Christmas meals feel easy, relaxed and special. With a group our size and all the festive cooking, we were also very grateful for the generous fridge and freezer space, as everything fitted comfortably with room to spare. Even though it was very cold outside, the barns were wonderfully warm and cosy — we were honestly in T-shirts and shorts most of the time indoors. The barns are also just a few seconds’ walk from each other, which worked perfectly for having the group split across two buildings while still feeling very connected. The location is peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to supermarkets for easy top-ups, which was really convenient. Parking was also excellent — we had five large SUVs and still had plenty of space with no issues at all. A special thank you to Gary, who provided fantastic customer service from start to finish. He answered all our questions quickly and clearly (and with 17 people travelling from Kent to Wales, there were quite a few!), and even checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. We were very impressed and would happily recommend these barns for a large family gathering!

Just back from a visit celebrating our daughters 21st birthday What an amazing place, beautiful setting. Myself and my family were very impressed with all the personal touches that made our stay memorable. We stayed in the Gathering Barn which was beautifully decorated clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub a bonus The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and had the essentials you would want. The Barn sleeps 12 and every effort was made by the owners to accommodate what we needed cot and extra bed etc. Great communication from the start we couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait to return. Five star experience from the start
