Raj and Zicklin were hired to demo our first floor and sister about 20 joists in the ceiling. They made sure the job was done right without cutting corners. They were knowledgeable, fair and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them and not hesitate to work with them again.
Zicklin did a very professional job waterproofing the side of our brownstone after we found a basement leak.
I'd absolutely go back to the team for another job — they worked weekends, saved our plants, remulched, and fixed the irrigation system when it broke during the job.
We hired Zicklin Contracting for a full interior renovation, and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made. Raja and his team handled everything—permits, coordination, and the full build—without us having to chase anything.
The quality of work is top tier. The bathroom and kitchen came out better than we imagined, and the attention to detail really shows. Everything looks clean, solid, and professionally done.
What really stood out was how available Raja made himself throughout the project. Anytime we had a question or concern, he responded quickly and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way.
No runaround, no headaches—just clear communication and real results. If you want the job done right the first time, these are the guys to go with. Highly recommend. I don’t write reviews often but for Raja I had too amazing.
The painters were meticulous about the job and courteous. COnsidering all the details and complications there were on skim coating our ceiling they took there time to get it perfect.
Zicklin renovated our apartment kitchen in Manhattan, complete with swapping out appliances. The project manager, Raja, was extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. They did a great job and were flexible in accommodating with our requests or added items to the scope of work. We were grateful that Zicklin ensured there were no issues with any installed appliances or new plumbing. Manuel specifically is a highly skilled craftsman and did excellent work on a few tricky aspects of the job.
Raj and Remy did an amazing job on our bathroom renovation. The whole process was smooth from start to finish — they were organized, professional, and really cared about the details. The tiles, fixtures, and lighting all came out perfect, and the space feels like something out of a hotel. They helped guide us through every step and made sure everything was done right. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out — highly recommend Raj and Remy for any bathroom project
Zicklin Contracting recently completed a full renovation of my apartment, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish the team was professional, responsive, and attentive to detail. I appreciated their flexibility and ability to accommodate design changes along the way.

Used Zicklin for a Local Law 11 project. Was very happy with the outcome and speed of which they completed the work. Would certainly recommend and use them again.
I recently hired Zicklin contracting to replaced my old cracked sidewalk in front of my house. The owners Raj & Sam were a pleasure to deal with and extremely professional. I live in Queens and dealing with the city with things like this is not always an easy task but they made it very smooth and took care of everything. They completed the job in 2 days with one of the owners, Sam present the entire time which really impressed me. They even went the extra mile to do extra cement work to match up and even the sidewalk at no extra charge, which I greatly appreciated . It was very important that they do the job the right way and not about the money which is a rarity. The team did an excellent job and I’m very pleased with the results. I highly recommend Zicklin contracting due to their quality of work , fair pricing and attention to detail.
We hired Zicklin Contracting to work on our basement, redo faulty drain lines, and take care of the side of our house and backyard. Raj and Sam did an amazing job—everything was done with care and the results came out great. Their project managers made the whole process easy, and I really liked that they have their own trucks to handle cleanup and garbage removal. The concrete quality was excellent, and the inspection process went smoothly. Our family has been working with them for over 20 years, and the consistency of their work is outstanding. We’re very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them—you won’t regret hiring Zicklin Contracting.

Got my driveway and walkway redone front and back, and these guys did a solid job. Ripped out all the old busted concrete and put in brand new, straight, clean slabs. Looks way better now and no more tripping over cracks. They showed up when they said they would, worked steady, and left everything clean. Happy with the work — I’d call them again.
