Checking the problem and then fitting a new thermostat
Thom was amazing, he was able to come out early to help on a Sunday morning when I was really worried about the thermostat not working and didn’t have much time before having to leave the house and wanted to be sure it was safe
Thom fitted a new one and was so kind, courteous and helpful - I would definitely recommend him very highly! Only wish I’d known about Yorkshire Coast Heating sooner - thank you so much!
Boiler Leak Fix causing electric fault.
Whilst I was not present, my partner has relayed back to me that the gentlemen who came to fix the boiler was super helpful.
He did his best to resolve the issue, fixing the leak from the boiler and made her feel comfortable with testing if the issue had been resolved as she was hesitant to touch anything afterwards.
He came well prepared, and tidied as he went, I came home to NO MESS at all, I wouldn't of known he had been here had the leak not been fixed, and obviously my partner saying how great helpful and nice he was.
Highly recommend. Boiler PRV Replacement
Had a boiler breakdown, he came over same day and repaired it quickly. I then had an issue with the carbon monoxide alarm that he came back checked over within half an hour. Turned out to be faulty old alarm. He's really friendly and did it for a really good price. I highly recommend him.
New gas boiler and radiators
Thom Dowkes gave me a very reasonable quote for the work that was to be done and true to his word he turned up on my door at the time he said he would. I popped home from work half way through the day to find the old boiler and radiators outside of the property ready to be taken away. When I returned home a few hours later Thom was finishing off, everything had been taken away, you could not tell that he had been doing his job all day because everything was to clean and tidy. Needless to say I would have no hesitation recommending yorkshire coast heating.
