I LOVE this place. Came here after taking my cat to the vet and we had some spanakopita, gyro and pita. The orange pie is also delicious. Will become a regular spot for me!

Underwhelmed - I wanted to like this place, but for what I paid .vs. what I got, the food was lacking. My order was this:
Avgolemono Soup (really good!). Gyro Salad - underwhelming - no salad dressing - paid extra for a small side of Tzatiki (glad I did!); Beef Gyro (I did not realize that the meat here is Beef).. not that flavorful, just the meat with a few onions... one of the worst Gyro sandwich I have ever had; Vegetable Briam - lacking flavor and saltless. The inside is nice and charming but I will not be a repeat customer as fortunately in Chicago, we have so many other very good Greek options.

We got the chicken gyro platter and it was delicious! Warm pita, flavorful chicken, really good tzatziki sauce! It's small so not tons of seating but would also love to get pick up or delivery! Alexia was super helpful!

The gyro meat is tender and very tasty. The bread was fresh and grilled to perfection, and the salad veggies were very fresh and cut to perfection. We will be back!!

Long overdue review however I need to share my amazing experience.
My family was visiting me and it was their first time im Chicago. We walked in with a group of 9. The kids were excited for delicious home-style food while the adults were grateful for enough seating for all.
Upon arriving, Alexia was SO helpful in explaining all of the menu items that we had questions about. She helped me get my order through quickly so we could start feeding the kids. My parents and Grandma also loved their choice meal.
The music was such a vibe too. Cozy enough to relax from the cold but upbeat/friendly enough that my nephew couldn’t help but dance from pure joy. Dani was amazing too bc she spoke our native tongue ESPAÑOL.
Y’all went above and beyond with the desserts as well. THANK YOU/GRACIAS from the bottom of my heart. I needed a meal like that after a long weekend. I will DEFINITELY come back when I’m back in Chicago for a visit! (Mb I forgot how to say Thx in Ελληνικά)

My friends and I came to Yaya's after a night out and were looking for clean, tasty food. The restaurant is welcoming with a nice atmosphere. David took my order for the Greek gyro and orange pie, which were absolutely delicious. The owner was also very welcoming. I highly recommend Yaya's!
