We contacted Woof it Up - Dog Training because we wanted to establish a training routine that met the needs of our new Border Collie puppy Ozzy. We were also looking to prevent possible behavioral problems in the future. Lisa, at Woof it Up, went above and beyond to ensure our puppy had a great head start! Ozzy learned many new skills such as recall, gage/disengage, touch, wait/stay, drop/leave it, and many more! Lisa was so much fun to work with! I had such a wonderful experience with Lisa! As someone who struggles with anxiety, I really appreciated the patience she had with me and my two puppies. If something wasn't working for my pups, she would adapt to what they needed in order to succeed. Xoloitzcuintles are not an easy breed to train, but Lisa never gave up on my boy and girl (or me)! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Letting Lisa (WOOF it Up) help me with my little guy was the best decision I ever made. My little guy (Yorkie) had a huge resource guarding issue as well as a few other issues. Lisa worked diligently with us, training, support, videos... and most of all patience. Her upbeat and positive attitude was also very helpful. My little guy is living his best life now, thanks to Lisa. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Lisa was amazing helping my nervous recently adopted german shepherd/akita. By the end of our sessions he had gone from a nervous dog very wary of people to a happy outgoing puppy. Lisa is great at teaching specific skills as well as helping with him come out of his shell and loose most of his nervousness. Fantastic outcome and couldn’t recommend Lisa from Woof It Up!

I cannot recommend Lisa enough! My tiny pomeranian girl started having anxiety and reactivity around big dogs when she hit adolescence. I was so concerned she'd start to form habits that would continue into adulthood.
Lisa was so quick to get us booked in and I cannot appreciate enough how she sacrificed her time to help my girl. She was so great explaining and walking us through each step. Every session gave us more tools for Clara to learn how to disengage when she has big feelings, and each time we saw such an improvement. You can see in the video that by the end of our last session, she was able to take treats calmly and happily next to Lisa's boxer! 🥹
We are so proud of our girl and forever indebted to Lisa for helping her go from panic attacks to calmly looking away. She even gave us some tips for introducing our new puppy and some separation anxiety our dog was having. I don't know where she'd be without Lisa's help! 🥺🤎

My little dog was having issues dealing with reactivity on leash and being unable to settle at home, she was a sweet girl but having a very hard time.
Lisa was endlessly flexible with her strategies, as miss Mabel proved to be a challenging little girl. Finally, she's in a much better place! The right medication and patient, consistent strategy worked. If you're looking for someone who isn't "stuck in a rut" with their approach and doesn't require a heavy hand, Lisa is an amazing choice!

We had a very positive experience with this class. The information given, videos and homework were very easy to access and understand. The classes were well organized and provided a great learning atmosphere for both the humans and the dogs. Our dog was easily over stimulated and reactive in busy or distracting environments, but with the guidance and tips we got from this class, I know how to better understand our dogs needs, he now automatically focuses on me even though there’s a lot going on around him. His reactivity improved immensely and I know how to handle him better in those moments. Her system works!
I can’t thank Lisa enough for this class and what it did for Jack and I.

Such great exposure to a real-life situation/scenario! We want to bring our dog everywhere we can and this helps our anxiety as well as helps him settle in public! Great environment to practice! Great people who run the show! Would recommend to anyone and their dog!
