As a new CPAP user…I had heard Many stories, some good others not so good, from people that needed to use them. I was impressed by all the detailed explanations and the time that was allowed to be spent with me showing me the options. Karen is great and tolerated my questions and answered each one. Even when in my taking written notes…reiterating what she had told me to be sure. She was patient and kind. A true gem for your agency!! She knows what she does well. I will need time to get the hang of the routine use of this machine but feel confident in knowing can reach out to any of her staff should I have further questions or concerns about my equipment and its use. Rachel always greets me with a smile, very helpful every time I have been to Wise Owl office and always asks someone else in the office if she is not familiar with the answer to my questions and last but not least great service every time.
I had serious concerns about Wise Owl Medical Supply’s CPAP pricing. I was told the Wi-Fi–enabled option, which allows physicians to access usage data remotely, would cost $25 per month for 10 months. The only no-cost option offered was an SD card version that requires manual data transfer to the doctor.
I later contacted Choice Medical in Marble Falls, where my husband obtained his CPAP, and was told their Wi-Fi option is a one-time $25 fee, not a monthly charge.
This pricing difference raises questions about fairness and transparency.
Recommendation: Ask for written pricing details and compare providers before agreeing to additional CPAP fees.

1. Wise Owl is fully transparent about every cost before anything is billed.
Transparency and fairness are core to how we operate. In fact, one of the most consistent compliments we receive from patients is that we explain all pricing up front so there are no surprise deductibles, co‑insurance bills, or unexpected charges. We do this specifically because many DME companies do not take the time to walk patients through costs before billing their insurance.
For this reason, the statement that our pricing raised “questions about fairness or transparency” does not reflect the way we do business.
2. The pricing you referenced was not quoted accurately.
The figure mentioned in your review—“$25 per month for 10 months”—is not the price we provide for Wi‑Fi–enabled CPAP connectivity. Our actual fee is lower than what you posted, and we make sure every patient receives that pricing clearly and in writing before moving forward.
3. Different providers offer different levels of service—and pricing reflects that.
You are absolutely correct that other companies may charge less. Some even provide machines by mail with little or no support, education, or follow‑up. It is not uncommon for patients to receive a machine and supplies and have no idea who sent it to the. That is their business model.

4. Patients are always free to choose what matters most to them.
Some people prioritize the lowest upfront cost. Others prioritize ongoing support, education, and long‑term CPAP success. Both are valid choices, which is why we explain all options clearly and let patients decide what is right for them.
5. We stand proudly behind our reputation.

The staff were all very helpful and courteous to me. Karen did an excellent job explaining to me how to use the machine. She answered my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the process.
