I hired Winters & Yonkers to handle my accident slip and fall case. They held onto my case for 15 months and then finally realized OG we can’t help you. I said you hung onto my case, wasted my time and then you finally realize that you can’t help me. This firm does not know the law they take your case waste your time and then they say to you OG we don’t cover such terms. My Recommendations , neverhire them they will waste your time.

Winters in Yonkers lost a hundred thousand dollar case of mine because of inexperience in the courts. They are not trial lawyers they are settlers only. They did the bait and switch on me gave me Patrick one of the owners in the last minute traded with him off for a fresh out of college boy. You lost me the case due to inexperience. They also lost the case and I had gotten some money from two other insurance companies that were involved that dropped out and never made it to court and at 11,000 was pretty much settled before they even got involved. Even though they lost the case they still took 10,500 of my money and try to give me only 500 and tried to charge me for every little thing they could. They knew I had a cell phone it was out of the area but they continue to call me from a landline long distance when I was right here in the area instead of using a cell phone and charged me for every single phone call they made every stamp every envelope that they did. This company is not a company you want to go to if you want to win they do not win in court they settle. When is in Yonkers is a really lousy company they're only worried about getting their share and not getting you the full amount of money you should get and then after losing the case still your money and make you pay for expenses. Morgan & Morgan did us right we had a second accident and we got paid with them even though we settled out of court because they got us the max we would have got even in court. If I was you I would not use winners in Yonkers their lawyers are all newbies out of the colleges. They told me they didn't want to use the owner because he was too known on TV and they the jury might think oh here he is a big TV guy trying to win this case. But yet there was no problem with him doing other cases so what was the problem doing mine. I think the Dayton switch is one of the reasons I lost the case plus they're inexperience in court. As I said they're not trial lawyers they try to settle so they can at least get their money guarantee. As soon as the weather cools down a little bit because I'm disabled and can't sit out there I will be in front of their building picketing their office. And when I lose them a couple of hundred thousand or million dollar cases sitting out there I'm sure they'll come around to their senses and stop stealing my money and make me a better offer on the money that was there from the other two insurance companies that paid up before court was never even brought up. So even if they lose they are going to take any money that they can from you and try to get their expenses paid for. If we lose you don't pay means you don't pay not but we're going to steal your money and get away with it cuz we're a lawyer. Do not use this lawyer company you won't be guaranteed good representation. You've been warned. After a few years they still have not made this right and kept the money that was not theirs

I was in an accident July 15,2023 I was hit by a careless bus driver . I called multiple law firms but winters and Yonkers call me first.
Chris , Sara, Tony , even Ms. Debbie , they all were really great and helpful , from start to finish they were behind me and I truly appreciate them , I finally closed my case this year , after 2 years of suffering and pain I feel like I got a some what reasonable amount, would I use them again if I needed to ? Yes , and I would request the same team , although sometimes I felt like I wasn’t getting the information I needed and at time I felt I wasn’t getting bothering them by calling . But I will say my patience was key to my case being resolved smoothly but also this was my FIRST car accident and I didn’t know what to expect nor how the process went and they made it a little easier for me but my anxiety is what kept me on edge. Overall they helped me out and got my case settled outside of court which was a good thing.

These guys are a real piece of work it's safe to say they only care about their own pockets they say anything else they're clearly lying.. this firm not only had one of the representatives make me perjure myself during a insurance deposition I was told to say I found all the doctors myself when they know damn well and clearly they referred me to all these people I think that was a slick way to trick me into owning up to all these medical bills when my insurance would have paid it. I became frustrated at the ends when it came time for my payout saw a lot of unnecessary charges the first things out of my lawyer's mouth after saying that was what about my time and you're going to tell me he truly cared about my case hahahahahahahah..... I think I still have a window of opportunity to open up a malpractice case against them so maybe they'll hear from you in the future 100% stay away
