Wrong Product Delivered & No Customer Service to Resolve
Order was delivered with wrong product. After dealing with Chat that stopped responding and being hung up on by Customer Service, on a third attempt I was told to re-box it up, FedEx would pick back up and would send the correct product. FedEx never came, sent 2 inquiry emails that got no response called to only be disconnected from 2 different customer service people before getting a third where I was on the phone for an hour trying to resolve. They then required a picture of the wrong product before they could send out FedEx. Still waiting for resolution. Would never use this company again.

The review "Stars" for wines on wine.com are not credible. Customers cannot write a review of wines.
Order never received for special occasion for my friend. Site did not care to help
I ordered something months ago and did not receive it. A customer service rep. From Wine.com mentioned it was in the hands of Fedex, however, it was delivered SIGNIFICANTLY late and way past the occasion for my friend. Wine did not help issue a refund and the rep. Was unknowledgeable and had no clue what she was talking about. In order to get this issue resolved, i had to dispute it with my CREDIT CARD COMPANY, which should only be used as a last resort. What an embarrassing organization.
Integrity and Customer Service are top notch.
I know there are quite a few negative reviews here but I would like to offset them with an excellent one. I am a repeat customer to this site and have had mostly great luck with my orders but recently there was one that was "pending" per FedEX for literally 2 weeks after the delivery date. I was very concerned about it being lost for good and according to the FedEX site, customers cannot make claims, only the company who shipped the order can file a claim... Ugh :( So I had an online chat with a representative and she took the effort to reach out to FedEX for answers and when there was no response, she re-submitted my order. I can't say enough how appreciative I was that she put the effort in and made it right for me in the end.
Integrity goes a long way with me and this company is well worth the visit. Highly recommend (not so much FedEX..).
COMPLETE SCAM WEBSITE, DO NOT ORDER FROM WINE.COM
Placed order. Found out that they are a scam website. Tried to cancel order. They ignored me. Told them that I will simply contact credit card company to dispute charge since they refused to cancel order and they hung up on me.
Terrible customer service
Never delivers on time. A package that was supposed to be delivered to NJ never arrived. The package originated from a Wine.com warehouse in NJ only had miles to deliver the item to the recipient in NJ. Fedex decided to ship the NJ bound package to California. They refuse to help, charge my account and are unable to put me through to a supervisor. I basically was charged $60 for items that will never get delivered. Wine.com customer service offers no solves -- horrible way to treat a long customer. If I could give a negative star review I would. They don't even deserve a 1 star.
Zero Stars would be better
So I order every year a bottle of Cristal for a family member. I went to wnie.com and it stated you get 20% discount for purchases over a certain dollar amount. The Cristal is $390 so obviously I deserved the discount however when I went to checkout, it would not apply the coupon. I called customer service and this is truly a hularous excuse...customer service said that if a product price ends in 97 as the Cristal is 399.97 then they cannot apply a coupon if shipped to california because yes the price ends in the two numbers 97. What a joke! I'm like okay so why is it not priced at 99 cents, Frankly I laughed and hung up. Will never buy from wine.com again. A total SCAM!
My StewardShip membership renewed on May 24, 2023. A May 5 email to remind me it was scheduled specifies "Free standard shipping on every order". This what I expected and agreed to when I permitted the scheduled auto renewal. I did NOT agree then, nor do I agree now, to pay $10 shipping for any order under $49. I did NOT receive a subsequent email clearly communicating this change nor giving me the option of discontinuing the StewardShip membership and getting a refund for the remainder of the year from renewal. I would not have agreed to renew if this change was made known at the time of the May 5 "Wine.com StewardShip Renewal Scheduled" email. I purchased the renewal with the expectation that I could order one or two bottles of relatively inexpensive wine without paying for shipping.
I attempted to remedy this problem by calling and emailing customer service. They were not helpful over the phone and said no refund for the remainder of my membership could be issued because I had "used the membership" (meaning I placed orders after the renewal). Why would I renew if I didn't plan to continue placing orders with the company? After a cookie cutter reply within 15 minutes of my initial email, my response to that email went unanswered for 10 days. I called customer service again today, this time getting to speak with an apparent "manager" who spouted the same ridiculous line about not being able to do anything because I "used the membership". Furthermore, she said they have the right to change their membership terms at any time.
This is bait and switch behavior which should not be tolerated.

Very bad customer service
Delivery takes longer than a week. The company doesn't compensate the customer for the "inconvenience" as they called. The customer service representative was absolutely arrogant and did nothing to fix my order
Be wary a scam
I ordered a few boxes of franzia moscato and it took a month to come in and it was the wrong order. Reached out the the company with no response. Will not be buying from them again be wary
Membership scam
Wow! I see they have many bad reviews. Makes sense then I am having to do this. They float a free shipping code that is attached to a membership. They keep it separate, but I am sure there was some little pop up I missed. So when my order came they charged me for the membership, which gets you free shipping. I called CS and said I didn't want the free shipping or the membership, so bill me for shipping and refund the balance from the membership to me. Oh NO, you can't do that. You are stuck for a year with the membership. WHAT? You can't subtract shipping ($16.99) from the membership fee ($69) and give me a refund of $52? Nope, they won't do it.
Scam on their premier membership

Don't Buy Membership
This site seemed great at first with free shipping and discounts and then all of a sudden they started making pretty much everything nondiscountable even though their prices are high. Do not buy membership to this service. Its cheaper to go to your local liquor store.
Reliably Unreliable
Multiple instances of when wine does not reach at time. I stopped sending out wines during CHristmas just for that reason and switched to birthdays - and that too has been consistently delayed. Not sure where the problem is. The customer service person just read me the rules. I got the free shipping service - and that is not refunded if used even once. My advice: Find another wine merchart.
Scam!
Placed an order on Sept 22,2022 - it is now Feb 4,2023 and I am still waiting. Zero response on follow up.
Bad service
I received a partial holiday company gift from wine.com. I know it was partial because my invoice says there should be two items but only got a small box. I sent them a message inquiring about my order and they told me they will send out the missing item ASAP. Well its been three weeks and nothing has arrived at my door. When I responded to their email to ask for a tracking number, they blocked me. I then reached out to the support team and they said that they can't help me.
Ridiculous. Way to ruin someone's holiday!
They take zero responsibility for anything
Ordered a gift basket for a friend who had a parent passed away, but the basket was a week late. The person never even got the basket because she was already gone from her realitives house by the time it arrived! They gave me no refund, nothing. They blamed it on fed ex.
The worst customer service company ever
Do not buy anything from them, they intentionally send you the wrong Items then make it very difficult to return, they do not have what they say they have.
Received a broken bottle of wine. The Customer service did not replace the order.
Received a broken bottle of wine as a gift order. After spending at least an hour with Viviane, the customer service representative I was told that they don't have this type of wine in stock. The company refused to offer another replacement. Won't recoment this company.
