It was my first visit to Station Road Opticians, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were professional and very helpful. I'd been with the same Opticians for the past 20+ years, and bought the frames from their limited display. What a difference at SRO's. I said I was looking for something "more me". I decided on a lovely lightweight lilac coloured frames, and an Amethyst coloured tint when the sun came out. I cant believe how comfortable they are. I feel as if im not wearing glasses. Many times I've got in the shower forgetting im wearing them. Yes they were expensive, but the difference between cheap frames/lenses is massive, and I will definitely return to the Opticians. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I went for an eye test at station road opricians. I found the practice to have a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The optometrist called Mariyah performed a very thorough eye test. Amy and Beth helped me to choose my glasses and I’m very happy with them. I left feeling very positive and refreshed. I would recommend anyone looking for new glasses to visit station road opticians.
I have worn glasses since being a child and the level of service and entire customer experience that I received at Station Road is by far the best to date. The eye exam was thorough and we spoke in detail about previous experiences with glasses and contact lenses. I trialled contact lenses while selecting my glasses which had the added bonus of actually being able to see the frames on my face properly! I can’t recommend Station Road enough. I was not under any time pressure to select my frames or left to decide alone whether they were right for me or not. The honest opinion and suggestions of alternatives was priceless. After poor experiences on the high street, I was pleasantly surprised to find this higher class of optician.
I was treated as an old friend, even treated to coffee and biscuits!
My prescription from another optician was carefully checked, both before ordering and after receipt of the new glasses.
The condition of my eyes was explained in detail.

What a refreshing experience at an opticians. Such a friendly atmosphere with a caring team looking after you. There is a unique and fashionable selection of glasses to choose from and the staff took time to make sure I was totaĺly happy with the glasses I finally chose.

The opticians I see (no pun intended!) are always very nice and always give me a warm welcome. I am very pleased with the professionalism that is afforded me each time I have been. The spectacles are extremely nice and enhance my appearance no end! I would certainly recommend this opticians.
