Totally inconsiderate of their customers time. When I scheduled my move with them I was given a time range of 1-3 PM for them to show up on my moving date. The DAY BEFORE my move when they called to confirm my time they tried to pressure me into changing the time to 9 AM.-FOUR HOURS earlier than originally planned and then told me they wouldn’t be sure of that time until the MORNING OF MY MOVE! I told them no because I had been planning on them showing up between 1 & 3 PM and I needed that time in the morning for last minute packing. THEN the day of my move they call me TWO HOURS before my scheduled time and again pressured me into letting them do the move early. And offered to help me finish packing. Which I would be charged for. I told them that I WOULD NOT be paying them to help me finish packing because they showed up two hours earlier than scheduled. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL to me. And completely DISRESPECTFUL of me, my time and my money. The guys were nice and they were very careful with my stuff but I will never use this company again. Moving is very stressful and time consuming and 2 hours may not seem like a big deal but it’s huge when you’re paying someone to move your stuff and they showed up early and you couldn’t have them move everything because you didn’t have the expected amount of time to get last minute packing done. So, now I have to expend even more energy than I have and more than those 2 hours to finish packing and moving the rest of my stuff from a second floor apartment in my car.

Two men worked very hard moving a sofa sleeper out of my basement to my first floor. They were very careful to move the suede couch . I was very impressed in the quality of their work and definitely would recommend the Willamette Valley moving company to move my furniture again.

Do not trust this company or the quality of movers you get. I was given one amount for the quote then charged nearly triple what was quoted. I take impeccable notes and wrote down exactly what the quote was in real time only to be told later that I must not have realized that it was for each hour. Mind you, I called several companies and received quotes and decided to go with theirs due to what they quoted. Also, my items were packed and sitting in the hall mostly ready to go-not even a need to come into the apartment for the majority of the move yet the crew that arrived took over two hours to move a few boxes, no heavy furniture 2.5 miles. In fact, the crew was just standing around in their truck in the beginning for close to 45 minutes running up the clock and not having moved anything-three men. Really strange and unfair business practices. Friendly crew, but no reason to be this way as far as business acumen. God bless them.

Unfortunately, we are not sure who you are. We have no record under the name you provided in your report.

We do charge $176.00 per hour for two movers truck and equipment with a two hour minimum. Three movers truck and equipment $247.50 per hour and the same two hour minimum. If you were not aware of this and thought the quote was for our hourly charge for the entire move we would be happy to make the necessary adjustment for you. We dont want anyone to feel like they were treated unfairly and would greatly appreciate it if you would call or email us so we may verify that it was us who moved you as you did contact several company's and we are not showing anything that correlates to your move. We also find this to be very strange, no one who uses our service should ever feel that they were treated unfairly.

So many of these moving companies are absolute trash, trying to upsell on 3 man crews when absolutely unnecessary. Maybe listen to the customer who is not hiring their first professional movers in their life. I'd rather pay a hardworking crew off Taskrabbit than deal with this racket. You all deserve to be regulated out of business.

The Quote we gave you was based on the information you provided. When a person is moving from a high-rise building to another high-rise building requiring the use of an elevator we always suggest 3 people. It is more efficient as one of the three movers runs the elevator while the person on top brings things to the person running the elevator and the person at the bottom brings those things to the truck. It is faster and more secure.

Ultimately it is the customers decision on how many people we send. We will send two movers and a truck at $176.00 per hour or three movers and a truck at $247.50 per hour. It makes no difference to us monetarily, it is all based on man hours, two movers and a truck 3 hours = 6 man hours or $528.00. Three movers and a truck two hours = 6 man hours or $495.00. The three movers actually being less for six hours. Based on where you were moving from and to we suggested three as did the other moving company you left a negative review for. This was not a monetary issue. We try and provide the best advise for any move and whenever an elevator-to-elevator move is required we will advise three movers, but again it is ultimately the customers decision on how many people we send. One last thing, when scheduling a move communication is key. We appreciate the form fill and emails but having a conversation is always best, perhaps if this would of happened we could of had a more positive outcome.

Fantastic moving company, the best we've worked with while living in Portland. Wish we'd found them sooner! Extremely considerate of our property, very friendly and efficient, and an awesome value for the quality of the service. Shout out to Max, Edgar, and Louis who moved us yesterday; they showed up early, wrapped every single piece of art individually, and took apart and reassembled the bed expertly. Very highly recommend this company, they're a phenomenal value for the quality they provide. We'll definitely be trusting them with our next move.

WOW. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about these guys. Without a doubt the BEST movers I've ever worked with. From Drew's responsiveness to Michael and Francisco's ruthless efficiency, warm and engaging demeanors, and total professionalism, it's been an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE working with these guys, which I've now done three times in less than two years. Michael and Francisco have been my movers the last two times and they've made it a stress-free, and even fun process. Watching them play Tetris today fitting a 3 bedroom home's worth of items into a 15 foot POD was seeing a masterclass in technique - they were so efficient that they actually left four feet of space in the POD, which we can now use to throw in more belongings! I give these guy's my highest recommendation and would use them eight days a week for any moving needs.

I highly recommend Willamette Valley Moving! From the time we contacted them for an estimate to moving day, everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. Drew answered all of our questions when scheduling and gave us a thorough estimate so we knew there would be no hidden costs. On moving day, Berny, Jose, and Max were amazing. They were friendly, incredibly accommodating, and positive. Our dog even felt like she could chill instead of be on alert. We couldn’t have asked for better people to help us on what is so often a stressful day. They treated our belongings as if they were their own and helpfully placed furniture in each room exactly where we wanted it. If we move again, Willamette will be our first call!

He did not have to even speak with me as i was not using this company. Roger took the time to explain how it should be going, as well as people I could contact to help with my situation. Not only that he also recommended another company as they were unavailable when I needed them. He even offered to call the other service for me This is OUSTANDING service and his help was very much appreciated. Moving is tedious and stressful. I don’t know anyone who enjoys moving, much less so in the summer. Michael, Anthony, and Francisco made our move, quick, easy, efficient, mindful, and meticulous. They were kind, collaborative, and very professional. They were very thorough throughout the whole process and made sure they got everything and transported it to exactly where we wanted it in the new house. They handled our belongings with utmost care and safety, and everything made it through in one piece. Also, as a parent who had my six year-old with me during the whole process, their effort just took so much stress off my mind amidst an already hectic task. This is my new go-to moving company. These guys really know how to hustle and get a job done well and affordably!

I used the Willamette Valley Movers last week and arent I glad i hired them! Alan and James were the best! Very fast and efficient! Their attitude was awesome, they were just focused on getting me moved into my new place. I had a couch I was nervous about getting into my new apartment building, it didnt fit in the elevator and they took it up stairs for me and had the BEST attitude the whole time. Next time I move or any of my friends and family we are using them because nothing but good things to say about them!

Hiring Willamette Valley Moving was the smartest decision for us. I read a ton of reviews before booking, and I was not disappointed. Allen and Wyatt showed up a bit early (but called ahead of time to give us a heads up), treated everything with absolute care and just removed a lot of stress on a very stressful day (even though it was a relatively small amount of things to move). They were 100% pros, courteous and took the time to make sure we were completely satisfied. They treated boxes marked “fragile” and “breakable” with absolute care. They disassembled and reassembled the bed frame. They made moving a very big dresser we had previously struggled with look EASY. Would definitely book here again. They were terrific.

My family has used this company for several moves, within and outside of Oregon, while single and now married. They have quality customer service, from the staff in the office to the guys that move, and drive the trucks. They handle every detail with such care and everyone has a positive attitude. They work really hard to get the job done. We trust this company with our belongings to get them safely to our next destination. They always lay down carpets throughout the house and the stairs, they use their own hand carts and everything is wrapped with care to ensure damage is avoided. They disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed, and always set up our beds by the end of the move. Special thanks to the lead Victor and his team, Santos, Antonio and Max. They did an awesome job and took good care of us during our move. I hope not to move anytime soon, but if we have to move, they will be my first call! I have such confidence with knowing that I am in good hands with Willamette Valley moving company and that gives me peace of mind.
