What a wonderful stay, Rob and Mel were so welcoming and accommodating. The pitches were very generous in size and having your own compost loo made a big difference with hot showers also available. A small on site shop had everything you may have forgotten. Wonderful weekend camping and we will be back next year.
We had the most magical weekend at Wild Cherry Camping! The tipi was brilliant - roomy and comfy and the luxuries of a loo, running water, kitchen and campfire were amazing. The plots are private and feel really special. The kids loved making a fire and toasting marshmallows, and we all enjoyed exploring the area. Thanks for the warm welcome - we’ll be back!

Amazing camp site
Amazing little camp site. There is a little honesty shop where you can buy logs/firelighters/cereal/drinks ect Showers and flushing toilet. My whole family enjoyed this camp site and you can store your food in a fridge/freezer until you need it. We was well looked after here for anything that we needed. Will definitely be coming again. Thank you

Great little off grid campsite
Great little off grid campsite, don’t expect your usual busy campsite, this is a very nice quiet spot off grid, camp fires on every pitch with logs available in the onsite honestly shop, Definitely worth getting the campfire cooking kit for your stay, Will definitely be back
Stopped by for one night while on a motorbike trip, I stayed in Acorn and was able to park the bike right next to my tent. It’s off the beaten path so security wasn’t a concern, although there is a little bit of gravel to get to the site so not ideal for sport bikes or lowered cars. Camper vans and all others will be fine. Facilities were clean and the shower was warm.

This place is amazing. Very peaceful, welcoming and cosy. This is our second visit: first we had s big tent, this time glamping in coppice - both experiences were great. The composting toilets are brilliant ( no emptying by the fillers) clean, odour free and easy to use - much better than shared camping toilet blocks of my horrified youth. Camping pitches are spacious with covered seating and fantastic fire pits. Glamping is luxury: great beds, kitchen area, lovely space with green play area. There’s a play field and animals too.

Large camping pitches set in woodlands. Some road noise but otherwise ideal. Campfire and toilet with hand washing facilities to some pitches. Could purchase cauldron and BBQ for over the campfire for the duration of your stay which was fun. Honesty shop and use of fridge/freezer and microwave. Would return.
