Had an issue with a door Wessex fitted, after an email on a Bank Holiday, they replied had a proffessional Team with me first thing Tuesday and fault ectified completely Friday, I was update ever day on progress, extremely proffessional trustworthly company.

Tried twice over two years to get quotes for a new garage door to be fitted. First time never heard back from the website query and second time had arranged for someone to come round and never showed, no e-mail to say "opps we forgot" or "sorry we had issues" just silence. Gone with someone else in the end but wouldn't bother with Wessex Even after a family recommendation...

We’re very sorry to read this, and we completely understand your frustration.

To have contacted us on two separate occasions and feel let down both times is simply not the level of service we expect to provide. In particular, if an appointment was arranged and nobody attended or contacted you to explain, we can only apologise.

As a family-run business, recommendations and our reputation mean a great deal to us, which makes it especially disappointing that you came to us following a family recommendation and we failed to live up to it.

We appreciate that you have now gone elsewhere, but we would still genuinely like to understand what happened so that we can investigate it internally and make sure the same thing doesn’t happen again.

Garage door was fitted six years ago. It developed a fault and I phoned the office. Spoke to an engineer who advised that I tried replacing batteries in the system. New batteries solved the problem. Much cheaper than a call out fee. So it's not all about company profit, more about customer service. Hurrah

Wessex installed our garage door a couple of years and we were very happy with both the service and the actual product. When one of the springs popped off I called and spoke with Beth who arranged for a new spring to be dropped off to me whilst I was away which I fitted in seconds and all works perfectly again. Excellent service, high quality product and design and really nice people to deal with.

I have an automatic Garador fitted by Wessex Garage Doors via a contract with Vistry /Countryside builders. The door twisted and stuck in its runner on 24th March and was reported to Vistry who then contacted Wessex. When I had no reply I chased both companies on the 26th. I was told I wouldn't get anyone until after Easter. That will be 2 weeks for a service call. I am disabled with equipment and supplies stored in my garage, plus a freezer full of food that I can't get too so I'm having to reorganise my life around this now where possible. I would be cautious before buying an automatic garage door in the future as once they go wrong there isn't anything you can do and you're at the mercy of after sales service!!!!

From the images provided, this does not appear to be a warranty-related fault but rather damage to the door/runner. As such, this would not fall under the manufacturer’s warranty.

We also need to clarify that any works or call-outs would require authorisation from Vistry, which we have not received in this case.

Due to your geographical location we are unable to attend within the time you require and would recommend you contact a local garage door company who will charge for their callout.

Great service and quality of repair Excellent job repairing my broken up-and-over garage door mechanism with both supporting cables and cones replaced, despite one of the cones being very difficult to remove. The mechanism is now smooth and opens and closes easily.

Replaced old up and over door for an electric roller! Recently had a very old up and over garage door replaced with an electric roller door. Best purchase ever! Makes my life so much easier, wish I’d done it years ago! From start to finish I was so impressed with the service I received from Wessex Garage Doors, Chis was so professional and knowledgeable, received a quote next day, ordered and fitted within a month. The fitters were very polite, did a great job fitting the door, left the area clean and tidy. Definitely recommend the company and the roller door, very happy customer! Thank you!
