Contacted them about buying surveillance equipment. I already knew what I needed and wanted. They told me they would not sell me any equipment unless they came down and toured the place first and had an official design made by their team. I said that's fine and we setup the date for last Friday. They were a no call no show. There was no contact on a new tour date for a week. I called them in the morning and at noon, I got a call back saying that if they couldn't install the system they wouldn't allow me to buy any equipment to install it myself.
Use a different company.

Wellington security systems was years ago a 5 star, then last few years a 2 star, and now after my last few months a 5 star. Reason the swing on lower than 5 star is that the camera brain they sold dint ladt that long as explained at time of sale it would years ago. I realized things wear out but was explained it was a software that was disconnected or no long used ir supported. I might be wording or explaining wrong. Regardless: not satisfied with original system brain and software sold.
Currently in ladt few months I worked with Adam/Jeff/Kasey to get a temporary brain while new brain was ordered and installed. This was a great option Wellington offered me so I wont be down on my one of two security systems will new system was on order.
Installation of new brain was a very good experience, short amount of time, and a great experience.
I will change to a 5 star once new system installed proves its a 5 star for many years.
Keep up the 5 star experience i had recently.

They make everything complicated to pay your bill.They don’t do customer service for small business owners, they’re pushing me out to online services only.
They are another disconnected, desensitized company with poor customer service.

I have been working with Wellington for a few years. We have used them for a variety of different services.
• When we first met to discuss the project, they laid everything out well and showed us an example video of each type of camera.
• When I needed a new camera, they made sure to check what would work best in that area and for our purposes
• They have installed a good number of cameras and a handful of servers for us between the different buildings
• We have used them to run cables from our switches to the cameras (some runs are over 200 feet)
• Their techs have gone into clean room areas and always followed our rules for PPE
• We had a few cameras die and they worked to try to repair on site, but it didn’t work, and they not only took the old camera down, but replaced it (RMA) and installed the new one
Their staff is very easy to get along with and professional. Highly recommend, and I will continue to work with them in the future.

Their drivers are totally out of control and the manager who replied to my email didn't seem to care very much. I saw a driver going 10+mph over and tailgating many other drivers on the interstate (as close as 1/4 car length) while going 60+ on a Saturday morning in the rain. Even when I exited, over 10 miles after first seeing the vehicle, the driver was still tailgating others while all 3 lanes were many vehicles deep going around 65 mph.
Take it for what it's worth, the manager stated: they would bring it to their driving technicians' attention to drive more cautiously and courteously on the roads. I don't think that will make any difference, but who knows. As for me, I just stayed in the other lanes and/or behind the driver. Last thing I want is to be rear-ended again by a reckless driver.
