This is one of the best and most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with in any industry. They went above and beyond for me multiple times during my project, and did amazing work with excellent communication through the whole process.
We had a shower drain fail at our house, and cause water damage in the crawl space. Our plumber recommended a different company initially, and since we were new to water damage issues, we called the company recommended by our plumber. That company was an absolute nightmare to work with, and I became very worried we were being taken advantage of. So I asked around for a better company to call, and Washington Water Damage was recommended to me.
I called Washington Water Damage and they got someone out right away to inspect what was going on with our situation and the water damage to determine a plan for how to fix it. They were extremely professional and transparent through the whole process which was incredibly refreshing after dealing with the other company we had been.
They were extremely honest and upfront about what was damaged, what needed to be done to fix that damage, and provided detailed estimates for what that may cost since we were likely paying out of pocket, not through insurance. None of this information had been given to us by the previous company.
We were then able to get rid of the previous company we had been using and move forward with Washington Water Damage to make our repairs. The honesty, professionalism, and quality of work performed by Washington Water Damage was top notch, and I cannot stress enough how much the excellent communication from every member of their team gave us peace of mind throughout the process.
I will absolutely be using this company again in the future if water damage issues arise, and I will recommend them to everyone I know. You will not find a better water damage repair company and I cannot recommend them enough!
If you’re dreaming of an indoor waterfall straight from your attic — this is your company!
Here’s how it all happened:
I hired this company to do some work in my attic. During the process, their team managed to break a water pipe. The result? My entire attic got flooded. Then water poured down the walls, soaking my floors, walls, and even reached other condos downstairs. Perfect, right?
They assured me everything would be fixed quickly: “Don’t worry, we’re professionals, everything will be fine.” This happened on a Friday. They opened the walls and installed their noisy drying equipment — my house turned into an airport, with the lovely bonus of a damp, musty smell everywhere.
I had to leave and stay at a hotel for a few days. I warned the managers ahead of time, asked if they would reimburse the hotel costs. They said: “Yes, of course, our company will cover everything, sorry for the inconvenience.”
In reality: I paid for three nights at a hotel out of pocket. When I returned, my house still smelled like a swamp, the walls were not fully dried, and the whole process dragged on.
Once everything was finally dried out and they did their so-called “restoration” (I wouldn’t call it proper repairs), I reminded them about reimbursing my hotel expenses. That’s when the fun really started:
Managers keep passing me around from one to another, promising that their boss will contact me. But guess what? No one calls. Today is July 1st, and I’m still chasing them for my money.
Bottom line: unprofessional, avoiding responsibility, making empty promises. If you want this kind of “service” — good luck. As for me, they’ve earned this solid one-star rating.

It is unfortunate you have chosen the review platform to discuss this matter.
Let me answer you first by saying unfortunately the attic in the townhome you rent in Kent, there are some hidden unprotected plumbing pipes in the attic. During our inspection of the attic sheathing, we accidently broke one of those brittle plastic pipes. We immediately mitigated the water, removing and drying the structure as per industry standards & then restored the unit back to its pre loss condition as agreed with the owner in less than 2 weeks.
The reason the Kent townhome you rent smelled when you returned from the 3 different 5 star hotels you stayed in, in 3 different cities, Renton, Seattle & Bellevue, was because you chose to turn the equipment off that was placed to dry out the unit you rent when you left. Even though by industry standards you could have stayed in the unit during the drying portion, we agreed, with your landlord of the unit you rent in Kent, to put you up in a reasonably priced hotel. Not 3 different ones averaging $420 a night. That was your decision. I will gladly discuss paying for reasonable hotel in the area. Looks to me as though the run around $200/night with parking.
We are a very professional and reasonable company and follow through with our promises. Just not unreasonable promises of what appears to be someone taking advantage of our company for a weekend of fun!!
Thank you and looking forward to discussing further.

I just want to say these individuals are amazing. They went above and beyond and functioned at the highest level of professionalism and customer service I’ve seen. I had some water damage they repaired and 5 months later I started to smell something in the crawl space. Without even a question, they came and looked at the problem without a complaint. I highly recommend this company for anyone who needs this service 200%!
Back to original condition!
My schedule was difficult but theses guys made it work! I’m also very picky and had some things reworked during the repair and they made everything perfect! The ceiling they worked on has rounded corners and lots of crown molding pieces and they Replaced everything with brand new pieces. I bought a new paint color for the ceiling repair and they not only painted the repaired area but also painted parts of the existing areas to match! I was worried about overspray on windows and carpet But they left no trace of construction behind.

The water line feeding our refrigerator / ice maker burst releasing water onto and under our hardwood floors. The water proceeded to run down into our basement damaging insulation and adding a layer of water to the basement floor. Once we were able to stop the water from continuing to flow onto the floors, we immediately called Washington Water Damage. Jeff came out that evening to perform a high level assessment of the damage. The very next morning he had an entire crew at the house and they began the process of recording the damage for our insurance, performing the demo work needed to remove the damaged flooring and preparing the damaged areas for the drying process. I could not be happier with the performance of Jeff's team. They were efficient, clean and extremely professional. They constantly kept my wife and I informed of each step so that we always had a solid understanding of the process and what to expect next. Once Jeff's team had completed the demo and drying process, Mike came directly out to the house to assess the restoration stage of the process. He handled everything from ordering new flooring materials to providing the proper paint for the drywall areas that had to be replaced. Once the materials for the flooring arrived from the manufacturer, Mike's team promptly began their work on the restoration. I was blown away by how quickly the team was able to bring everything back to the way it was. The quality of their work was excellent. The new hardwood floors that were installed looked so much better than they did prior to the damage. The drywall and exposed insulation looks great. They took care to make sure that all of the molding was reinstalled and repainted. Their workmanship really speaks for itself. They even handled most of the paperwork with our homeowner's insurance. The only part they didn't handle was what the insurance required me to complete. I'm very appreciative to the entire Washington Water Damage team for all of their help through this stressful time. I strongly suggest you consider them if you ever find yourself in need of a damage mitigation and restoration service.

Broken pipe during freeze flooded four condos in our building - Including my ground floor unit. Damaged my ceiling, walls and floors - Extensive damage to my Kitchen and Utility, Dining and Living Rooms. Very disruptive and traumatic. Scott and team arrived on site within hours of the water leak being detected and were critical in limiting the damage and preserving my cabinets, possessions and important documents. From that point forward they were instrumental in drying out my unit and working with our HOA and contractors to get my unit and me back in action. In addition to doing great work the professionalism and care of Scott and his entire team put me at ease throughout the process - Priceless! Washington Water Damage will be my first call if anything like this occurs again.

Broken pipe during freeze flooded entire kitchen and great room. They showed up the next day, removed furniture, flood cut the drywall and dried everything out. They even stored the furnishings until repairs were complete. Honest, professional, and very easy to communicate with.

Great service, with trust-worthy experts that provide calm in a stressful situation. Ready to take action with short notice. Team leaders are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very courteous. They are quick and they are thorough and work directly with insurance companies on your behalf. I highly recommend.
Washington Water Damage and Cleaning Services completed restoration of our house following a flood that affected virtually the entire lower level. Mike Stewart, project leader, and his team continuously conveyed a commitment to do the job right and well, and everything they promised to do was followed through on. They were professional, well-organized, communicative, and responsive. All appointments were kept in a timely manner and schedules were carefully adhered to. The company clearly demonstrates a wealth of experience doing what they do and an effective plan for handling and coordinating all parts of the restoration process in order to achieve a successful outcome. Prior to the work beginning, I was nervous and skeptical about the challenges to be faced, but each encounter and phase increased my confidence in the high quality of service provided by this company. I am very appreciative of having an exceptionally difficult situation handled so smoothly and well and for an extremely desirable final outcome!

Wash Wtr Damage worked on 3 jobs for us in one year ! Our Kitchen, bathroom and garage had water damage. The provided excellent service, a very prompt response to clean up the mess, and rebuild each area. Miguel and his crews were polite, kind, and very good workmanship. Mike Stewart WWD rebuild manager was polite, very patient and spent alot of time explaining things to us. We are 70+ yr old seniors and these 3 separate jobs in one year were overwhelming to us. Scott Russell owner of WWD is a good businessman. He followed up with us and 2 different insurance companies.
If I could give 10 stars I would !
I can't praise the crews that were here to repair my waterdamage enough !
They were efficient, polite, came precisely and did a wonderful job !
They had the communication with the insurance compagny, so everything was done and paid for without any effort from me !
Thank you for doing a fantastic job !!!
