M “Sugarbundi” A 2025.11.08

     

Wow 👌 I booked the Japanese Cooking class at Kaiapoi, Christchurch. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the hands on experience of Japanese homecooking from scratch, using the Japanese implements and ingredients. The environment was inviting with the music and videos of Japanese landscapes and traditional sites, plus the table already set for a cup of tea and the trays prepared for placing the dishes we cooked and enjoyed for lunch. The tutor explained everything very well and shared the recipes later so we can try and recreate some of the dishes we learn at her class. I would certainly love having another Japanese Cooking lesson with Ritsy.

Ritsy was wonderful and taught me so much about Japanese cookery. It was a pleasure to spend 2 1/2 hours learning new skills and it wasn't about sushi. I would 100% recommend this class with Ritsy and. The food was wonderful. I'd like to do another class with Ritsy and get my friends to come too.

I sat in on class my wife did with Ritsy. She is wonderful teacher and her passion for sharing her knowledge of Japanese cooking and Japanese food and culture is so wonderful. The food that was taught to my wife was so yummy. I highly recommend Ritsy and booking in to do some of her classes.

My tennis team had the best time at Ritzys place learning how to cook Japanese food. Ritzy was super accommodating and had the vegetarian option available for one in person our group. We loved being hands on and left inspired to go home and try the featured recipes at home. Ritzy is very friendly and welcoming and made sure we all had a great time. Thanks Ritzy.

I did this cooking class with my mum and we loved it ! Ritsy taught us how to make ramen , gyoza and mochi which all tasted so delicious. Her instructions were clear and the whole class was hands on. It was a really special experience. Will 100% be doing another class with Ritsy , 10/10 !

I can't recommend Ritsy enough. I went with 2 friends and we had a lovely afternoon learning about Japanese food and culture. We made more dishes than I thought and the flavours were amazing. Well worth it!
