Ruhige Lage, man hört nur Ziegen, Schafe und Hirtehunde. Dennoch ist man innerhalb von 5 Minutem mit dem Auto am Meer und in 15 min. in der nächsten Stadt. Ganz herzliches Paar kümmert sich um das Airbnb, großen Dank an Nikos und Chrisoula! Sie haben in Karoti eine kleine Taverna, wir haben so lecker dort gegessen!

☺La piscina e la vista mozzafiato sui tramonti eccezionale e la cortesia e gentilezza di Nikos e la moglie che ci hanno viziato con uova e prugne. Siamo stati alla piccola osteria di loro gestione e ci hanno accolto come fossimo di famiglia. Pulizia interna impeccabile, e privacy assoluta per tutto il soggiorno.
☹Il doccino del bagno di servizio, l'unico che abbiamo usato, andrebbe sostituito
Wir sind gerade hier auf der wunderschönen Finca und genießen unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten und wir haben einen sehr schönen bunt gefüllten Urlaub. Am liebsten entspannen wir aber in dem „Häuschen „ bei schönsten Wetter und traumhaften Ausblick. Das Ganze wohlfühlen wird durch die liebevolle Umsorgung von Krisoula und Nikos unterstützt. Beide sind einmalig und wir haben noch nie eine so tolle Hauspflege erlebt. Auch lädt ihre leckere Taverne zu einem Besuch ein. Auch wenn wir uns nur mit wenigen Worten verständigen können, sagen wir lieben Dank und dem Hausbesitzer, Danke für den traumhaften Ort und Haus in bester Lage zum Urlaub machen. Wir bleiben sehr gerne noch eine Weile 😊

Lovely villa in a stunning location, 360 views. Sun rises over the mountain view, sets over the ocean in the distance. Next field has sheep and goats which give the villa a lovely rustic feel. The pool is lovely and the surrounding walls provide both sun and shade. To the right is a road down the hill to a lovely long beach. Turn left out to local village with small supermarket, baker etc. amazing location. Tips - follow the Airbnb directions to find the villa - not a postcode which takes you to a rather annoyed lady at a random villa 15 mins away. Villa spotless and looked after by friendly locals. We arrived late Sun night and on landing were told via the app that we would not be able to use the villa between 10-2pm on Wednesday. This turned into 10-3pm. Worth noting - inconvenient and we were not told we would have restricted access to the villa in advance / before booking. Pool cleaned Sat am, no notice and no access for an hour+. Lovely stay overall, recommend.

☺Sehr schöne Villa auf einer Anhöhe in Alleinlage mit herrlichem Rundumblick. Absolute Ruhe und völlig ungestört. Wer Kontakte sucht ist dort falsch. Mit Auto ist alles locker erreichbar. Der Sandstrand vor der Haustür ist aufgrund fehlender Hotelbebauung nur wenig besucht.
☹Das 2. Und 3. Schlafzimmer ist für je ein Kind ok.....für 2 wirds etwas eng.
Also, für 4 köpfige Familie super....für mehr Kids (je nach grösse und Alter) etwas kuscheliger

Tolle Ausblicke in die Bergwelt Kretas, Olivenhainen und zum Meer .
☺Liegt in einer phantastischen , ruhigen und grünen Region. Sehr nahe zum Strand und in die Stadt Rethymno. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Auch für Spaziergänge mit tollen Aussichten zu den weissen Bergen bestens geeignet.

☺Everything was great. The villa has all facilities and equipment for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The owners are very nice and easy to contact with. Same goes with the people taking care of the villa who owns also a little local tavern nearby with a delicious food and they were so friendly and welcoming. The location is very good close to Rethymno and very nice beaches. We highly recommend the place.

L'aménagement extérieur et l'emplacement sur des hauteurs offraient de superbes points de vue. Un bon compromis entre la proximité des services de Rethymno et le charme et la tranquilité de la campagne et des petits villages. Un gros plus également pour l'accueil chaleureux de Niko et Krisoula. N'hésitez pas à leur rendre visite à leur "taverna" à Karoti, à distance de marche du gite.

What a fantastic 2 week holiday we had at Villa Ypsilon. It has been carefully designed with all mod cons and has absolutely everything you need. It was very clean inside and out. The pool is perfect and so clean. Great Cretan style barbecue which we used 5 times and ate our meals in the evenings looking at 360° amazing views of the mountains and sunsets over the sea. The villa is looked after by Nikos and his wife Chrisoula who are such genuinely friendly local Cretans. They have a tavern in the local village just a 3 minute drive away and if you want to experience proper traditional Cretan cuisine then you must try it. Everything is homeade, including the wine and Raki, the food all be it a limited menu, is delicious. Nikos takes your order from the menu at the villa at least a day before. Pantelis, the owner was very quick and helpful to respond in all aspects. We highly recommend this villa, we have visited Crete many times and always enjoyed it but this was the best yet.
