Sehr schön und ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit privatem Strand. Die Zimmer sind sauber mit schönem Meerblick und Hängematte auf dem Balkon. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein Aufenthalt ist nur zu empfehlen.

Nous commençons notre séjour mais je suis largement déçue. Plus de 200 euros la nuit, pour la chambre à 2 lits de 140 plutôt qu'un lit queen size que nous avions pourtant demandé. On nous dit qu'on pourra changer de chambre demain...super une fois qu'on a deballé les affairss. On a demandé en arrivant quel était le menu au restaurant, la dame de l'accueil nous dit de scanner le qrcode dans la chambre, on tombe sur un menu de 5 pages avec plein de bonnes choses ...arrivés au restaurant seulement 3 plats disponibles dont aucun raffiné, et on nous dit que c'est parce que c'est la basse saison... Mais le prix de la chambre lui reste quasiment le même! Si au moins la dame de l'accueil nous avait prévenus on serait aller manger ailleurs! Une honte pour un hôtel de ce standing! Et en plus on nous a fait payer plus cher que ce qui était noté sur le prix booking. Bref grosse déception pour ce prix. L'accueil est charmant et la vue splendide par ailleurs.

Regarding the bed configuration, we would like to clarify that the beds in the room you were assigned are indeed queen-size beds, not standard double beds. We also regret that you were not informed about the reduced off-season restaurant menu at check-in. You are absolutely right that this should have been mentioned, and we will remind our team to be more transparent so guests can make fully informed dining choices. We would also like to mention that, had you wished for something different from what was listed on the reduced menu, our kitchen team would have gladly tried to accommodate your needs whenever possible. We are pleased to hear that you found our reception team welcoming and that you enjoyed the view. We truly hope you will give us another chance to offer you the experience you expected from our hotel.

Hotel maravilloso con un buen servicio y unas instalaciones preciosas. La piscina y la playita privada son fantásticas. Habitaciones amplias con vista al mar. Quiero agradecer a María por el masaje que me hizo, fue impresionante, y an Ana por la clase de Yoga delante del mar. Los cocktails de desayuno están buenísimos. Sin duda, recomiendo este hotel.

I am a yoga instructor who hosted a retreat here. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially seeing as this was my first time hosting a yoga event overseas from the U.S. My main contact was Angelina - she was an angel. She helped me every step of the way leading up to and during my retreat. She was extremely accommodating to my needs and gave great suggestions. Upon arrival, everything was perfect. It's truly even MORE beautiful than in the pictures! All of our rooms were lovely - I know some reviews talk about spotty wifi or "outdated" room decorations, but all of my guests and myself felt each room was comfortable and bright. The hammocks on each balcony are a huge plus - great to take a cat nap on if you are tired from the sun. Beds were comfortable, too, and all of our rooms had a ceiling fan and A/C. All of the staff were once again super accommodating. Although there were some language barriers occasionally, they did all they could to address any of our concerns, including food modifications for dishes. The dinner menu changed each night which was a nice touch. Breakfast includes a buffet as well as items from the menu, so you can have hot coffee with some cereal and a small pastry while also enjoying a made to order omelette. Angelina helped us greatly with our excursions. We all went to Playa Rincon by boat - highly recommended! It's a wild, fun ride against the choppy waves, and it only takes 10-15 minutes to get there. Some of us also decided to horseback ride down to Playa Madama with a small walk on foot along the cliffside - this was an amazing excursion. Just ask Angelina about Karin's La Hacienda Hostel. Also recommend checking out La Playita. It's a little beach just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It's beautiful and they have some great food - just go to the white tent to grab some shrimp, calamari, and freshly made french fries! You could make this an afternoon since it costs nothing to go there. Just bring a beach towel from reception as well as an umbrella (looks like a golf umbrella) since there are none to rent at this beach. Overall, I would recommend this place not only if you are a vacationer but also as a yoga instructor looking to book a venue. You could not ask for a place that embodies paradise - it's very private and serene with no crowds or loud music, you will have the beautiful outdoor yoga shala all to yourself, and you will make amazing memories with your guests. Villa Serena is situated in a beautiful location with a small yet private beach. I reached out in advance and requested a specific room if available and was told it would be no problem but when we arrived we were placed in a room adjacent to the lobby and not quite the privacy I was hoping for. When I mentioned it to the manager her response was, they're all the same, not the warmest welcome from mgmt, clearly a room adjacent to the lobby it not the same as the one I asked for. The rooms are beautifully appointed with flowers yet desperately need upgrades as the smell of mold is pungent despite their best efforts to mask it with sprays. The bathroom toliet and tub were leaking, nearly hit my head on the shower from the slipping. Was unable to unpack my clothes in the closet because of the smell of mold. The extra pillows in the closet were saturated with mold smell, I had to put them in the hallway. The staff at the restaurant were all so polite & the food very good but dinner for 2 cost well over 6k pesos! 2 beers, 2 apps, 2 entrees, we didn't order anything fancy and paid NY prices. The place tacks on a 28% service fee! One can only hope it goes to the staff. It's unnecessarily expensive, it's better to head out into town for food. There are so many beautiful beaches but recommend La Playita we went twice, ate fresh fish & never spent over 3k pesos including chair rental. Was hoping to make this location the next for my 2025 company retreat but without mold remediation would not subject my team to it.

Total mind blow! This retreat forced me to vacate all my worries and focus on total pleasure! Breathtaking views, beautiful accommodations, incredibly fresh, delicious ( and nutritious) foods and beverages, amazing waitstaff, eye-catching scenery, beach hopping, extreme peaceful seclusion, and exclusivity...There was NOTHING to want for.

We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are beautiful, with a fantastic garden and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We even joined the yoga class with our kids—a lovely experience for the whole family. The small private beach was perfect for quiet moments. Pure peace and relaxation!

Polecam na dłuższy nocleg w tym miejscu. Pokoje duże, czyste, łazienka z wanną i masażem, balkony z hamakami, bujanymi fotelami i kadzidlem, uroczy klimat, śniadania zróżnicowane, dodatkowo restauracja serwuje obiady i kolacje, basen czysty, duży ogród, joga, rower, kajaki w cenie, mały minus za brak plaży (bardzo mała, często zalana przez przypływ).

We went for lunch, to take advantage of the great views, and wandered round the grounds afterwards. The indoor dining room is quite splendid and we had a table near an open window, with great views past the little offshore island, Cayo Levantado. Their menu is unusual and we shared fish croquettes and a guacamole dish. along with a bottle of Argentinian rosé, which was strangely off dry. But we enjoyed the experience.
